Barron (hamstring) was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Mike Tomlin said earlier in the week that Barron was questionable for Week 6, but he was ruled out after not being able to take the practice field. Vince Williams and Devin Bush should see most of the work at inside linebacker for Pittsburgh.

Coach Mike Tomlin said Barron (hamstring) can be considered questionable for Sunday's game versus the Chargers, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barron underwent an MRI on Monday, and it appears his injury may not be serious enough to keep him out Week 6. The Steelers will likely keep a close eye on their starting inside linebacker during this week's practices, but Tyler Matakevich is waiting in the wings for a usage increase if Barron can't go.

Barron (hamstring) had an MRI on Monday to determine a timeline for his return, Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barron left Sunday's overtime loss to the Ravens in the first half, and his hamstring was still sore Monday morning. The results of his MRI will reveal whether Barron has a chance to play Sunday versus the Chargers. Expect his practice status to be limited to some degree either way.

Barron (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game versus the Ravens, Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barron suffered this injury near the end of the first half, so he'll be evaluated during halftime before the team decides if he can play going forward. If Barron can't go, expect Tyler Matakevich to see an increase in his workload.

Barron recorded 11 tackles (eight solo), an interception and a pass defensed in Monday's win over the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
Barron led the Steelers in tackles in a dominating defensive performance in which they only allowed three points. He also secured his first interception since 2017, which came in Pittsburgh's end zone during the fourth quarter. He'll now shift his focus to another divisional opponent as he heads to Baltimore on Sunday.

Barron made six tackles (two solo) and had a fumble recovery in Sunday's 28-26 loss to the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old was all over the field Sunday, playing in all 79 of the team's defensive snaps. Barron continues to put himself in situations to make tackles, and has recorded 13 through the first two games of the season. He'll get a chance to have another impact on the game in Week 3 against the 49ers, who ran wild against Cincinnati on Sunday.

The Steelers and Barron reached an agreement on a two-year, $12 million contract Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
In order to shave $6.33 million from their cap situation, the Rams released Barron in early March with the hope that he would return on a more team-friendly deal. Clearly, that won't come to pass. Barron will join his third organization since entering the NFL as a first-rounder of the Buccaneers in 2012. With 96.6 tackles per 16 games played in his career, he could be a valuable IDP if he can avoid the injury bug this coming season.

The Rams released Barron on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Barron made it through three seasons of a five-year, $45 million contract, getting the start in each of his 42 appearances during that stretch. He never lived up to his sizable contract, and the Rams can afford to move on after Cory Littleton emerged as a solid starter at inside linebacker. The 29-year-old converted safety may have to battle for playing time at his next stop.

Barron played 48 defensive snaps and recorded nine tackles (five solo) during Sunday's 33-31 win over Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Barron missed the first four games of the season with an ankle injury, but he certainly proved his health with a strong showing in his 2018 debut. Barring an aggravating his ankle or another injury, the Alabama product is positioned to return to being a go-to asset in IDP settings.

Barron (ankle) is expected to start Sunday's game versus the Seahawks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
This would be Barron's first game of the season. Barron is a versatile linebacker, as he made 86 tackles, one sack, four pass breakups and three interceptions in 14 games for the Rams last season. If he suffers a setback before kickoff, expect Ramik Wilson and Bryce Hager to continue manning the inside linebacker role.
