Chiefs released WR Mardy Gilyard. Gilyard lasted nearly six months on the Chiefs' roster. Kansas City was his fourth different team since being the No. 99 overall pick in 2010.

He was then picked up by the Jets in late November and spent a month with the team, catching two passes for 15 yards.
