Patriots signed DT Marcus Forston to a reserve/future contract. Forston wasn't amongst the Pats' initial wave of future signings on Monday. Perhaps his contract includes more complicated language, or even a small guarantee. A second-year undrafted free agent, Forston appeared in three games for the Pats this season, notching three tackles.

Patriots waived DT Marcus Forston and CB Justin Green. Forston had been helping along the Patriots' injury-ravaged interior line, making three tackles in three games. The Boston Globe's Ben Volin expects Green to be stashed on the practice squad if he clears waivers.
