Brown (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Eagles.
EDGE Analysis
Brown is set to miss his first game since the 2018 season. This hurts the Saints' depth on their feared defensive front. His reps likely will be absorbed by Sheldon Rankins, David Onyemata and Shy Tuttle as the Saints look to stymie the Eagles run game, which should be enhanced with Jalen Hurts making his first career start.

Brown (calf) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown was forced out of last weekend's win over the 49ers with a calf injury, but he'll be back in action for Sunday's divisional contest. The starting defensive tackle's presence will provide New Orleans' run defense with a solid boost, but his lack of consistent tackle and sack tallies will keep him off the fantasy radar in most IDP leagues.

Brown (calf) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the 49ers, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown exited Sunday's contest in the third quarter. If the starting defensive tackle isn't able to return, New Orleans could have increased difficulty containing San Francisco's dangerous running game.

Brown totaled one sack and a tackle for a loss in the Saints' 38-3 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Brown finished with 34 tackles (18 solo), 2.0 sacks and a fumble recovery in his first season with New Orleans in 2019.
EDGE Analysis
Brown played a key role for New Orleans in his first year with the team, logging 503 defensive snaps in 2019 and starting all 16 games. Brown has two years left on the three-year deal he signed last offseason and will look to maintain a similar workload in 2020.

Brown made three tackles and a sack in Sunday's 31-24 win over the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Brown now has two sacks through five games, with both coming against the Texans and the Buccaneers. Brown takes advantage of favorable matchups as Deshaun Watson and Jameis Winston are tied for fourth in the league with 18 sacks. He should have a good shot to add to his total with a Week 6 game against the Jaguars since Gardner Minshew has been dropped 12 times so far.

Brown signed a three-year, $15 million contract with the Saints on Thursday,Nick Underhill of The New Orleans Advocate reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown started 51 of a possible 60 games in New England over the last four seasons, posting 186 tackles and 8.5 sacks during that time. Brown was mostly utilized in a two-down role with the Patriots, but could see a heavier workload in New Orleans according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. At the very least, the 25-year-old projects to play a large role to begin 2019 with Sheldon Rankins (Achilles) a strong PUP candidate.

Brown (calf) won't carry an injury designation into the Super Bowl on Sunday, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown had been a limited practice participant with the calf issue, but was able to practice fully Thursday and Friday to gain clearance. The defensive lineman -- who turns 25 on Saturday -- should serve his usual rotational role at defensive tackle.

Brown (calf) was a full participant in Thursday's walkthrough.
EDGE Analysis
Brown popped up on the injury report as a limited participant Wednesday. It's unclear if he's fully recovered from the calf injury since the team had a walkthrough rather than practicing in full Thursday, but it doesn't appear as though the issue is likely to keep him out of the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Brown (calf) was limited at practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Brown was limited for the second day in a row due to his calf issue. His status for the Super Bowl remains unclear, but so long as he's able to log limited practice sessions he stands a good chance of being active. If he's ultimately held out or limited look for Adam Butler to see an uptick in snaps.
