Mitchell caught one pass (on two targets) for 15 yards in Sunday's 31-24 win over the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Per ESPN's Mike Reiss, Mitchell was on the field for 31 of the Patriots' 80 snaps on offense Sunday, while Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan led the way on that front by recording 63 snaps each. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Danny Amendola turned his 19 snaps into a 4/50/2 Week 2 stat line. With three catches on seven targets for 48 yards through two games, Mitchell isn't ready for fantasy-prime time, but as the season progresses and injuries hit his veteran teammates, the rookie could develop into a option in deeper formats.

Mitchell (elbow) is not listed on the Patriots' Week 2 injury report.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie wideout, who caught two passes for 33 yards on five targets in Week 1's win over the Cardinals, has moved past his elbow issue, but the continued presence of Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan and Danny Amendola in the Patriots' wideout corps makes Mitchell a speculative fantasy lineup option in advance of Sunday's contest against the Dolphins.

Mitchell (elbow) was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Mitchell, who caught two passes for 33 yards on five targets in Sunday's win over the Cardinals, continues to work through an elbow issue, though with no Week 1 setbacks having been reported, we suspect that his practice limitations Wednesday were maintenance-related.

Mitchell caught two passes for 33 yards on five targets in Sunday's 23-21 win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
According to Pro Football Focus, Mitchell played 39 of the 71 offensive snaps, trailing Julian Edelman (61) and Chris Hogan (56), but well ahead of Danny Amendola (20). While the Patriots may ramp up Amendola's workload as he further distances himself from his offseason knee injury, it appears Mitchell will retain at least some kind of role in the offense. There's also a chance Mitchell could continue to out-snap Amendola, as Hogan and Edelman both have plenty of experience playing in the slot. Next up is a home game against the Dolphins, with Jimmy Garoppolo getting another start in place of Tom Brady (suspension).

EDGE Analysis
As is fellow wideout Chris Hogan, with Mitchell probably slotting in as the Patriots' No. 4 wideout Sunday, an assignment that makes him a speculative Week 1 fantasy play.

Mitchell (elbow) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Cardinals after being limited at practice this week.
EDGE Analysis
As is fellow wideout Chris Hogan, who practiced fully this week. If both suit up Sunday, Mitchell probably slots in as the Patriots' No. 4 wideout out of the gate, an assignment that puts him just one break (in his favor) away from fantasy utility.

Mitchell (elbow) was limited at Thursday's practice, the Providence Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Mitchell coming off an elbow injury, the rookie wideout's Week 1 role has yet to be clarified, thus making the 2016 fourth-rounder a speculative fantasy play this week, in the event that he suits up Sunday night against the Cardinals.

Mitchell (elbow) was limited at Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
A fourth-round selection in this year's draft, Mitchell caught four passes for 55 yards in the preseason opener, but was knocked out of the game with a dislocated shoulder. He subsequently missed the final three preseason games, and his Week 1 status seems less than certain. However, the Patriots did opt to keep just five wideouts -- including special teamer Matthew Slater -- on their 53-man roster, hinting that Mitchell is expected to suit up Week 1 in Arizona. While he'll likely open the year as the No. 4 wideout, Mitchell is just one injury away from getting regular snaps.

Mitchell (elbow) is one of four wideouts on the Patriots' initial 53-man roster in advance of Week 1, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
EDGE Analysis
The others are Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan and Danny Amendola, with Mitchell having participated at practice Sunday, per the Boston Herald. Coming off his elbow injury, Mitchell's Week 1 role has yet to be clarified, but down the road the rookie is a candidate to claim the Patriots' "X" receiver role.

Mitchell (elbow) did not suit up for Thursday's preseason finale against the Giants, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mitchell is said to be progressing from an elbow injury he sustained Aug. 11, but he'll sit this one out and at this stage his Week 1 status remains unclear. Down the road, Mitchell is viewed as a candidate to claim the Patriots' "X" receiver role, though out of the gate this season, a wait-and-see approach is in order.
