Alexander (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
While the 33-year-old's absence was likely a precautionary measure, his participation in practice throughout the remainder of the week is still worth monitoring. However, it should be noted that Alexander hasn't missed a single game the entire season.

Alexander (ankle) practiced on a limited basis for the second straight day Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Jacksonville.
EDGE Analysis
It seems likely that the late-blooming sack maven will play this week, though the Bills have been mentioning frequently that they'd like to spell an overworked Alexander more on defensive snaps with promising rookie Shaq Lawson.

Alexander (ankle) was listed as a limited participant for Thursday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
We expect the NFL's co-leader in sacks to play Sunday against Jacksonville, though the team has made some some statements that they plan to start easing his play count, as the veteran has gone full steam on both defense and special teams nearly all season. Rookie Shaq Lawson appears ready to ease Alexander's burden.

Alexander (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Alexander appears to have suffered a minor ankle injury during Sunday's win over the Bengals, a game in which he logged five tackles (two solo). His status for Week 12 versus the Jaguars may be in danger, although he'll look to return to practice later in the week.

Alexander (questionable, hamstring) ended up playing 98 percent of the defensive downs during Monday's loss to the Seahawks, registering his league-leading 10th sack.
EDGE Analysis
We can't even fathom the preseason odds of Alexander being the first player in the league to hit double-digit sacks, but here he is. The team has been concerned with his play count because he's also such a key member of special teams, so we might see him take an ever-so-slightly reduced role over the last seven games with guys like Shaq Lawson becoming more involved. But Alexander doesn't draw the blocking attention that Jerry Hughes or Kyle Williams/Marcell Dareus frequently do, so there's not much reason he can't get to the 15-sack level by season's end.

EDGE Analysis
Alexander has yet to miss a game this season, and that streatk will continue through Monday's game. He was limited in practice throughout the week, but will ultimately be active. Shaq Lawson figures to step in if Alexander suffers any setbacks.

Alexander (hamstring) is questionable for Monday night's game against the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Alexander was limited in practice again Saturday as he continues to try to gain some level of comfort with his injured hamstring. This is looking more and more like it will be a game-day decision, so continue to monitor his status as Monday night nears.

Alexander missed practice on Thursday, but was able to participate in a portion of drills Friday. He'll have one more chance to test out his ailing hamstring during the Bills' final practice of the week on Saturday.

Alexander (hamstring) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though Alexander returned to practice Friday, he evidently isn't yet in game shape. Shaq Lawson consequently projects to step into the starting lineup.
