Alexander recorded six tackles (five solo), two sacks, and one forced fumble during Sunday's 25-6 loss to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Alexander was all over the field Sunday, making his presence known as one of the consistent bright spots on Buffalo's defense. The 35-year-old played 58 defensive snaps after not exceeding 40 since Week 1, and will look to log another strong showing in Week 9 against the Bears.

Alexander posted four tackles (three solo), 1.5 sacks, an interception and a pass defensed in Sunday's loss to the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Alexander may fall just under the IDP radar, but if anyone's playing in a "35 and over league" the veteran is certainly a beast. On the season, he's posted 28 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one interception and one fumble recovery. While rookie Tremaine Edmunds is the Bills' linebacker to own, Alexander is still proving quite valuable to the team even at his advanced age. Even more impressive is that Alexander posted all that Week 6 production on just 20 defensive snaps.

Alexander totaled just one tackle during Sunday's 27-6 win over the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
The Bills stifled Kirk Cousins and the Vikings from the beginning of the game, forcing him to throw 55 times. The Vikings rushed just six times in the entire game, explaining why Alexander's tackle total is so low. Expect Alexander to be more involved in Week 4 against the Packers.

Alexander was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Alexander was given a rest day heading into Week 2's matchup against the Chargers on Sunday. The 35-year-old managed eight combined tackles in the Bill's season opener against the Ravens, in which Buffalo's defense fell apart at the seams. The linebacker was mostly used in run defense Week 1, and looks likely to continue in that role as the season progresses. While Alexander likely won't come close to his 12.5 sack 2016 season, he should continue to be a reliable accumulator of tackles.

Alexander said Monday that he intends to keep playing in 2018, Jadon Ceravolo of the Bills' official site reports. "I mean, that's the plan for me," Alexander said. "Obviously, the organization has to make a decision on whether or not they want to keep me. Then once that happens, I have to earn my right back on this team."
EDGE Analysis
After coming out of nowhere to produce 12.5 sacks in his first season with the Bills in 2016 at age 33, Alexander took a dramatic step back in 2017, but was still an effective contributor with 74 tackles (59 solo), three sacks and three forced fumbles in 16 games. The linebacker remains under contract through the 2018 season, and given his reasonable $3.4 million cap hit, it would be surprising if the Bills cut him during the offseason. That being said, Alexander could end up ceding more frequent snaps to the team's younger reserve linebackers as the Bills to keep him as fresh and effective as possible.

Alexander accrued nine tackles (six solo) against the Saints on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran linebacker now has 56 tackles (43 solo) through nine games, putting him on pace for 100 tackles this season. However, Alexander has recorded just two sacks this season, which is nothing compared to the monstrous 12.5 sacks he racked up in 2016.

Alexander only saw action on 36 defensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Raiders, logging three tackles and a forced fumble.
EDGE Analysis
Don't be too alarmed if you own Alexander in an IDP league, as the Bills were comfortably ahead in the second half and felt it was a good chance to give the 34-year-old some rest. Alexander remains productive with 42 tackles, three forced fumbles and two sacks, though with fellow starter Ramon Humber coming back soon from a thumb injury, rookie Matt Milano -- who's been turning heads for weeks -- could start to sub in for both starters more in an effort to keep them healthy. It's also apparent Alexander isn't going to be the sack monster he was in Rex Ryan's defense, as he put up 12.5 of them seemingly out of nowhere last season.

Alexander recorded eight tackles (six solo) in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Alexander is putting together a solid season thus far with 39 tackles (29 solo), two sacks and two forced fumbles through six games. The Bills will take on the Raiders at home in Week 8.

Alexander posted seven tackles and a forced fumble in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
The 34-year-old continues to play like a man 10 years his junior, with 30 tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles through five games. He's receiving a near full allotment of plays as well, with 125 snaps over the last two weeks, something that should continue with fellow outside starter Ramon Humber out for a few weeks. Alexander won't reach the 12.5 sacks that came out of nowhere last season, but he'll remain productive as a secondary IDP.

Alexander had two tackles (both solo) and a sack in Sunday's win over the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Alexander recorded his second sack of the season and continued his hot start as the Bills defense frustrated Trevor Siemian on Sunday afternoon. The 34-year-old and the Buffalo defense will try to contain Matt Ryan and the Falcons in Week 4.
