Ravens waived RB Lonyae Miller.

Ravens signed RB Lonyae Miller and C Reggie Stephens to reserve/future contracts. Both Miller and Stephens finished the season on the Ravens' practice squad. Miller was Ryan Mathews' running mate at Fresno State, and he brings some playmaking ability to the table. He and Stephens will look to earn roster spots in training camp.

Raiders worked out free agents RB Lonyae Miller, RB Stafon Johnson, and CB Brian Williams. The Raiders have Michael Bush and Taiwan Jones for depth. Working out Miller and Johnson signals concern that Darren McFadden (foot) might not be available for Week 9. We wouldn't put too much stock in the workout unless one of the two is signed.

Rams worked out free agent RBs Lonyae Miller, Stafon Johnson, and Wynel Seldon on Tuesday. The team is preparing for life without Steven Jackson (quad) this week. Miller and Johnson have spent the last two summers in Cowboys and Titans camp respectively. Also hurting at cornerback, the Rams worked out Fred Bennett, Rod Hood, Nathan Jones, and Robert McClain.

Cowboys RB Lonyae Miller "just ran into piles and didn't make anybody miss" too many times on Thursday night, according to ESPN's Calvin Watkins. Miller was a camp darling through the first couple weeks, but managed just 11 yards on nine carries last night. It's not the kind of showing the 2010 undrafted free agent needs if he's really going to push Tashard Choice off the roster. With Choice (calf) expected back Saturday, the battle will really get going.
