Former Patriots special teams ace Larry Izzo has reportedly been hired as the Giants' assistant special teams coach. The 14-year NFL veteran last played in 2009 when he suffered a career-ending neck injury. A three-time Pro Bowler, Izzo held the record for most career special teams tackles by an active player at one point. It's hard to imagine a former player better suited for the job.
