Dean signed with the Buccaneers on Thursday, the Tampa Bay Times reports. The 26-year-old Dean has yet to make a start through 61 career NFL appearances, and he only has 22 tackles to his name. If he makes the Bucs' final roster, his greatest contribution will likely come on special teams.

Dean was waived by Minnesota, ESPN 1500 am Twin Cities reports. He'll likely sign with another team or a team's practice squad as he played 16 games last year.
