Kyle Rudolph Should Produce In Week 3 rotoballer.com Thu 9/20/18 9:38 PM

Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph has had an inconsistent start to the season although he should be able to make his mark in Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills. Rudolph is coming off of a seven reception, 72-yard performance in [...]

NFL Survivor Pool Picks (Week 3): Targets and Avoids rotoballer.com Wed 9/19/18 12:50 PM

Not many of you would be reading my column anymore had Zane Gonzalez been able to kick an extra point or field goal to defeat the Saints. The other big favorites covered so it wasn't a survivor annihilation like it was last week. There were seven outright upsets with only the Redskins and Texans causing minimal damage. If you're still alive, it gets easier the next couple of weeks. If you're not, there's still plenty of good tidbits to help you with your daily fantasy squads. Plus, my best[...]

Kyle Rudolph Bounces Back In Week 2 rotoballer.com Mon 9/17/18 3:09 PM

Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph grabbed seven of eight targets for 72 yards against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2. Rudolph was held to just 11 yards in Week 1, so this performance gives fantasy owners a bit more reassurance that Rudolph will remain a focal point of the Vikings offense going forward. He will still be behind Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen in the reception pecking order, but Rudolph can be considered a fringe-TE1 heading into Week 3.

The New Generation of Tight Ends rotoballer.com Sat 9/15/18 12:00 PM

In Week 1 every year, there seems to be a new wave of players that no one has heard of before, making a splash for their team and immediately becoming relevant in the world of fantasy football. Finding that next waiver pickup or sleeper a week before the rest of your league is a great feeling. You're able to say that you had the scoop before anyone else. The start to the 2018 season is no different, as we saw plenty of big name players go down with injuries. Some are out an unspecified amount o[...]

Heroes and Zeroes - Week 2 Fantasy Football Picks rotoballer.com Fri 9/14/18 12:10 PM

I'm an introspective type of fellow, so in preparation for this season's first edition of Heroes and Zeroes (don't look for Week 1, it's in the clouds somewhere along with the missing episode of South Park), I decided to look back at some of last season's articles when I stumbled across this intro to a recommendation for Chris Godwin as a Week 10 streamer: "You know, Ryan Fitzpatrick isn't terrible...  *ducks under desk Disgruntled Jets fans have cast him aside long ago, but for a backup QB h[...]

Week 2 Rankings Analysis - Nick Mariano vs. ECR rotoballer.com Fri 9/14/18 12:05 PM

Welcome, one and all, to the weekly piece that puts my rankings under the microscope and gives me a chance to explain myself against the Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR) found on FantasyPros. I did decently in Week 1, scoring 29th out of ~130 experts, but if I'm going to beat my 9th place finish from '17 then I've got work to do! I'll be examining my own ranks against the ECR on a position-by-position basis, as the overall and flex tabs can simply get insane with every position folded in with [...]

Week 2 Busts - Overvalued Players to Avoid In Fantasy Football rotoballer.com Fri 9/14/18 11:55 AM

The first week of the NFL season is in the books! We learned all kinds of cool things last weekend, including the fact that Ryan Fitzpatrick is the greatest quarterback of all-time, that Matthew Stafford might as well change his last name to Peterman, and that having Alvin Kamara, James Conner, and Tyreek Hill all in the same lineup is a very, very good thing. Last week's bust list had a decent hit rate, but I really got Patrick Mahomes wrong, y'all. I didn't like the matchup and I really did[...]

Kyle Rudolph Could Continue To Be Quiet In Week 2 rotoballer.com Thu 9/13/18 12:12 PM

Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph was only targeted twice in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers. [...]
