Juszczyk caught 2-of-3 targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 48-17 win over the Buccaneers. Juszczyk's run blocking has been a pleasant surprise for the Ravens, allowing him to stay on the field a bit more than expected, though that can mostly be pinned on the absence of Dennis Pitta (hip). Juszczyk doesn't have a carry through six games but does have seven catches for 91 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets.

Juszczyk caught 2-of-2 targets for eight yards in Sunday's 38-10 win over the Panthers. Following last week's 3-54-1 receiving line, Juszczyk provided numbers that are more typical of a fullback. While known more for his receiving skills coming out of college, he's mostly been used as a lead blocker this year. Juszczyk has logged about half of the offensive snaps over the last three weeks, but he played fewer than one-fourth in Week 1 when the Ravens were playing catch-up all game. In all likelihood, he'll continue to get most of his playing time when the team is least likely to throw.

Juszczyk may take on a bigger role in the offense now that tight end Dennis Pitta (hip) has been ruled out for the rest of the season, the Ravens' official website reports. Listed as the team's starting fullback, Juszczyk mostly played tight end and H-back in college at Harvard. He's 6-1 and not particularly dangerous with the ball, but his speed, route running and hands are all surprisingly excellent for a player listed as a fullback. While still unlikely to emerge as a fantasy option in most leagues, Juszczyk did catch 3-of-4 targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Browns. TE Owen Daniels gets the major stock boost from Pitta's injury, but Juszczyk and backup TE Crockett Gillmore also figure to log extra snaps. Juszczyk was a non-factor in the Baltimore offense as a rookie, after getting selected in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Juszczyk caught three passes for 54 yards and a touchdown on four targets in Sunday's 23-21 win over the Browns Juszczyk was left wide open for a nine-yard touchdown pass in the first half, and then broke off a 33-yard gain on a screen in the third quarter. With TE Dennis Pitta suffering a dislocated hip in Sunday's game, the Ravens will likely need more out of Juszczyk, after using the fullback on just 43-of-158 snaps through the first two weeks of the season. More of an H-back than a traditional lead-blocking fullback, Juszczyk is an excellent receiver for his position, having primarily played tight end in college at Harvard.

Juszczyk did not register a touch or target in Thursday's 26-6 win over the Steelers. Juszczyk played 25-of-70 offensive snaps, and while that represents an improvement from last week's 18-of-88, he was only on the field for six pass plays. Until building a two-score lead in the second half, the Ravens barely used Juszczyk outside of goal-line situations. Meanwhile, No. 2 TE Owen Daniels had a strong game, catching a pair of touchdowns while playing 51 snaps.

Juszczyk only played 18-of-88 snaps in Sunday's loss to the Bengals. The Ravens fell behind 15-0 in the first half, and thus ended up throwing 62 passes. Oddly enough, while he'll need receptions to carve out any shred of fantasy value, Juszczyk is probably a better bet to produce when the Ravens stick with the run. There was perhaps some opportunity for him to carve out a role beyond what you'd expect for a starting fullback, but with Owen Daniels looking healthy, Juszczyk probably won't get more than 1-3 targets per week. He does figure to play more than 18 snaps most games.

Juszczyk caught five passes for 53 yards on five targets in Saturday's preseason game against the Redskins. Offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak said during the offseason that he could envision Juszczyk catching 40 or 50 passes. While that previously seemed quite optimistic, Juszczyk has been one of Joe Flacco's favorite options this preseason, hauling in all 10 of his targets through three games. With training camp reports on Owen Daniels (leg) rather unflattering, the Ravens could opt to use less of the veteran tight end and more of their versatile second-year fullback. Juszczyk doesn't draw great reviews for his lead blocking, but his receiving skills are excellent for the position. Of course, even if he's a big part of the offense, he'll mostly be catching short passes, and won't be a threat to pile up carries.

Offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak said in June that he could envision the Harvard grad catching 40 or 50 passes this season.

Juszczyk suffered a minor neck injury during Thursday's preseason opener, ESPN reports. Juszczyk's injury doesn't seem to be much of a concern since coach John Harbaugh said that his team didn't suffer any major injuries during Thursday's game. The fullback has a chance to see some opportunities in the passing attack this season, although, it'd be hard to imagine him finding much fantasy relevancy from the backfield.

Ravens OC Gary Kubiak is comparing second-year FB Kyle Juszczyk to former Texans TE/FB James Casey. Casey spent four years with Kubiak in Houston, catching 34 passes for 330 yards and three touchdowns in 2012. Juszczyk is similarly useful as a blocker and check-down safety net. He won't have fantasy value, but could help the Ravens.
