Bucs signed TE Kyle Adams. The Bucs have lost tight ends Luke Stocker, Nate Byham and Tom Crabtree to season-ending injuries this season. Adams will step right in as a blocking complement to pass-catching rookie Tim Wright. The ex-Bear had four catches in 24 career games with Chicago.

Bears waived TE Kyle Adams. An H-back type and former undrafted free agent out of Purdue, Adams became expendable when the Bears acquired Dante Rosario from the Cowboys.

Bears placed TE Kyle Adams (hamstring) on injured reserve, ending his season. A rookie blocker and special teamer, Adams has been active for all eight of the Bears games , but had yet to register a catch or tackle. He should compete for a roster spot next summer.
