Lions WR Kris Durham started in Week 4 and played a season-high 61 snaps.
He led Detroit in receiving yards (58) and recovered an onside kick. Nicknamed "White Chocolate" by his teammates, Durham was actually starting outside in place of Pat Edwards (ankle), not Nate Burleson (arm). Burleson was replaced by Ryan Broyles, who finished without a catch despite playing 40-plus snaps. Durham is a special teamer and would be a truly desperate fantasy add.

Lions re-signed WR Kris Durham to a one-year, $555,000 contract.
Durham was set to be an exclusive rights free agent, but the Lions are bringing all of their RFAs and ERFAs back for another year. Durham was signed off the practice squad in early December and was forced to start three games. He caught eight passes for 125 yards and a touchdown, but the bad outweighed the good. TE/FB Shaun Chapas and S Ricardo Silva were also re-signed.

Kris Durham had two receptions for 31 yards in Saturday's Week 16 loss to Atlanta.
Durham was targeted five times, but did all his damage on the Lions' final drive of the first half. Despite his ascension to the starting lineup with Ryan Broyles (ACL surgery) on injured reserve and Titus Young banished, Durham doesn't hold any fantasy value.

Kris Durham caught just one pass for 14 yards in Sunday's Week 15 loss to Arizona.
Durham was targeted five times on the day, but none of the passes were particularly close to being catch-able. Matthew Stafford was doing his usual sidearm and throwing-off-the-back-foot routine. Durham doesn't hold any fantasy value.

Lions WR Kris Durham played 78-of-84 snaps in Sunday night's loss to the Packers.
That's 61 more than supposed slot WR Mike Thomas, who wasn't targeted. It's an astonishing snap count for a player who was signed off the practice squad just six days ago, and speaks to the desperation the league's No. 1 passing team is feeling at wideout. Durham didn't play well in Green Bay, running the wrong route on Matthew Stafford's lone interception, and muffing a catchable ball in the fourth quarter. It will be bad news for Stafford and Calvin Johnson if Durham is forced to start again in Week 15, but he likely will be. Durham's "ascension" vividly illustrates how far Thomas has fallen.

Making a surprise start opposite Calvin Johnson, Kris Durham caught four passes for 54 yards in Detroit's Week 14 loss to the Packers.
Signed off the practice squad just five days ago, Durham failed his audition. The 6-6, 216-pound wideout ran the wrong route on Matthew Stafford's only interception of the evening, and failed to corral a catchable ball as the Lions were driving in the fourth quarter. Although it would have been unfair to expect Durham to light up the statsheet, he didn't show nearly enough to earn another start, or hint at future fantasy value.

Lions signed WR Kris Durham off their practice squad.
With Ryan Broyles on IR and Titus Young banished, the Lions are in desperation mode at wideout. Durham will act as depth behind new starter Mike Thomas and we'd expect Brian Robiskie to dress Sunday as well.

Lions signed WR Kris Durham to their practice squad.
A fourth-round pick by Seattle in 2011, Durham suffered a torn labrum in November and missed most of his rookie season. He was waived during final cuts on Friday. With an impressive mix of size (6'5/214) and speed (ran a 4.43 at his Pro Day), Durham could eventually push Kassim Osgood off the roster.
