ESPN Lions reporter Michael Rothstein says it is "tough to see" both WR Kris Durham and WR Kevin Ogletree making Detroit's 53-man roster. With the infusion of wide receiver talent in Detroit this offseason, fringe players like Durham and Ogletree have become expendable. Durham was a drop machine in 2013, and Ogletree has been mostly ineffective throughout his career. Both players are best suited as No. 4 or 5 receivers in real football and ignorable in fantasy.

Lions extended an exclusive rights free agent tender to WR Kris Durham. He's now owed $570,000. Durham, 26, appeared in all 16 games in 2013, starting 13 and catching 38 passes for 490 yards with two touchdowns. This was never by design, of course, as Durham was forced onto the first team by injury. He registered a whopping ten dropped passes and ranked among the worst wideouts in the NFL in "catch rate." Durham is best suited as a No. 4 or 5 receiver.

Updating a previous item, Lions WR Kris Durham is an exclusive rights free agent this offseason. Retaining him will cost the Lions under $700,000, so he's very likely to return to Detroit. It was originally believed Durham was a restricted free agent, which would've made him a $1.389 million-or-more player. Durham finished 2013 with 38 catches for 490 yards and two touchdowns, making 13 starts.

Restricted free agent Kris Durham is expected to receive an original-round tender from the Lions. Durham was originally a fourth-round pick by Seattle, so no team is going to surrender a fourth-rounder for his services. The low tender would pay Durham $1.323 million in 2014, as long as he makes the team, which is no sure thing. The Lions desperately need to add one or two receivers this offseason. In an ideal world, Durham would be nothing more than a No. 4 or 5 wideout.

Kris Durham caught two balls for 14 yards in the Lions' Week 16 loss to the Giants. Durham was low in the pecking order for targets in this one, even with Calvin Johnson (knee) noticeably hobbled. Joique Bell, Joseph Fauria, and Nate Burleson all played more prominent roles. The Lions face Minnesota to close out the regular season. Durham is a role-playing No. 3 receiver in OC Scott Linehan's offense.

Kris Durham caught one pass for five yards in Week 15 versus the Ravens. Durham was targeted four times on the night. He was the intended receiver in the end zone on a play where Lardarius Webb clearly grabbed Durham's left arm, forcing Durham to try and make a one-handed catch. There should have been a flag for defensive pass interference. Durham is barely on the WR5 radar.

Kris Durham did not catch a pass in Sunday's Week 14 loss at Philadelphia. Durham saw three targets, often failing to keep his footing in eight inches of snow. The conditions were actually worse as players got closer to the sidelines, where Durham operates. Regardless, he'll just be a WR4/5 against the Ravens in Week 15. Slot man Nate Burleson is the No. 2 receiver in the passing game.

Kris Durham caught three passes for 68 yards in Detroit's Week 13 win over the Packers. Surprisingly running as the Lions' No. 2 receiver, Durham drew seven targets opposite Calvin Johnson. He was the intended target on Matthew Stafford's first interception, but there was nothing he could do on a badly under-thrown pass. The Lions like Durham enough to keep him involved in the offense even after the return of Nate Burleson, but he's nothing more than a middling WR4/5 for fantasy purposes.

Kris Durham caught a five-yard touchdown in Week 10 against the Bears. It was Durham's lone target on the afternoon and he cashed it in for a score on the Lions' opening possession. Calvin Johnson was targeted on 17 of Matthew Stafford's 35 passes, so there obviously weren't a ton of other balls to go around. Durham is merely a WR5 most weeks.

Kris Durham caught four passes for 54 yards in Detroit's Week 8 win over the Cowboys. Durham's biggest catch came on the Lions' desperation, and ultimately game-winning, final drive. Streaking down the sideline, Durham made a 40-yard grab in stride before getting out of bounds to stop the clock. Durham has now made at least three catches in five straight games, and is averaging 53 yards in the process. There are worse bye-week fill-ins.
