Wright (ankle) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite coach Pete Carroll saying earlier in the week that Wright "bounced back well" from an ankle sprain he suffered against the Bills, the veteran linebacker was listed as DNP on Wednesday's report. He's trending in the wrong direction to start the week, but a return to the practice field by Friday would be a step in the right direction. Cody Barton is on standby and will start at strong-side linebacker if Wright is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Rams.

Coach Pete Carroll said Wright (ankle) bounced back well during Monday's practice after suffering an ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Bills, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is encouraging news for Wright's chances to play this week against the Rams. Wright has been excellent for the Seahawks this season, producing 42 tackles, a sack, six pass breakups and an interception through eight games. We'll have a better idea of Wright's status when the team releases its first injury report of the week Wednesday. Cody Barton is expected to start at strong-side linebacker if Wright misses any time.

Wright exited Sunday's loss to the Bills with a sprained ankle, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright finished the game with two tackles and a sack, and he left in the second half. Coach Pete Carroll didn't have an update on the severity of Wright's injury, so we may need to wait until practices start Wednesday to get clarity on his condition. If Wright's forced to miss any time, Cody Barton likely would take over as the starting strong-side linebacker.

Wright recorded three tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery in Sunday's 27-26 win over the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
Wright excelled in coverage yet again, reeling in his first interception of the season and setting up the Seahawks to score on the next play. The veteran linebacker also iced the game by recovery a Kirk Cousins fumble at the end of the fourth quarter. The tackle count has been a bit flaky this year with three games of four or fewer stops and two games of eight or more, but he's finding other ways to pad his stats this year.

Wright (illness) was a full participant during Thursday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright missed practice Wednesday with a non-COVID-19 related illness, and as evidenced by this news, he's shaken the ailment off. With Dalvin Cook and the Vikings coming to town Sunday, Wright will be leaned upon heavily to slow down the run offense now that he's healthy.

Wright (illness) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
There's no indication that this is related to COVID-19, but it's worth monitoring nonetheless. Wright was fantastic in Week 4 against the Dolphins, stopping screen passes behind the line of scrimmage and breaking up three passes. With Dalvin Cook and the Vikings coming to town Sunday, Wright will be critical in shutting down check-down passes and a commanding run offense.

Wright recorded eight tackles, three pass breakups and a forced fumble in Sunday's 31-23 win over the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Wright put together his best game of the season, consistently sniffing out screen passes and nearly intercepting a pass in the first half. The 31-year-old linebacker has stepped up admirably with a good chunk of the secondary, including Jamal Adams (groin), out of the lineup, and with 17 tackles over the last two contests, he's a solid IDP play as well.

Wright made 10 tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 38-31 win over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
After handling limited workloads over the first two games of the season, Wright played every snap against the Cowboys and predictably made a major impact. With Bruce Irvin (torn ACL) out for the season and Jordyn Brooks (knee) expected to miss time, Wright has virtually no competition for reps at outside linebacker moving forward. Coming off a career-high 132 stops in 2019, Wright is a solid IDP play in Week 4 against the Dolphins

Wright (shoulder) passed his physical and participated during Wednesday's practice, John Clayton of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright had offseason surgery on his shoulder, but he looks like he's on track to be ready to go for the Seahawks' Week 1 game against the Falcons. The veteran linebacker is once again expected to handle a significant, every-down role on defense after playing 93 percent of the snaps in 2019 and logging 132 tackles, 11 pass breakups and three interceptions -- all career-high totals. Even though the 31-year-old appears fully healthy, expect the team to monitor Wright's workload carefully in practices until the regular season begins.

Wright (shoulder) said Thursday that he's ahead of schedule in his recovery from offseason surgery and expects to be fully healthy for Week 1, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright handled 93 percent of snaps on defense for the Seahawks last season while starting a full 16-game slate. If he's indeed able to make a full recovery in time to kick off the 2020 campaign, he'll once again serve as a pillar of the team's linebacker corps. Coming off a career-high year in terms of tackles (132 total) and defended passes (11), Wright should once again be a valuable IDP asset entering his age-31 season.
