Titans waived LB Kevin Malast. Malast hasn't appeared in a game since 2011. Getting waived at this stage of the offseason is never good news for a fringe player's NFL future.

Titans signed LB Kevin Malast off the Jaguars' practice squad. The corresponding roster move will probably be to place Barrett Ruud (groin) on injured reserve. Malast is a former undrafted free agent out of Rutgers.
