Golladay brought in three of five targets for 22 yards in the Giants' 22-7 loss to Washington on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran tied for second in receptions on the afternoon despite his very modest tally, but it was emblematic of the state of the Giants' air attack under Jake Fromm. Golladay's first season in New York arguably couldn't have gone much worse relative to expectations, as the prized offseason addition finished with a 37-521 line over 14 games and never found the end zone. Poor quarterback play certainly helped sabotage Golladay's prospects, and he'll have to hope a return to health by Daniel Jones (IR-neck) in 2022 helps correct a lot of what went wrong.

Golladay failed to haul in his lone target during Sunday's 29-3 road loss to the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
The Giants passing game is abominable, and no receiver on the team is worth a look unless you are beyond desperate. Jake Fromm will take over for Mike Glennon at quarterback for Week 18, but he's a long shot to make a difference.

The Giants may be down to Golladay and practice-squad call ups as their options at wide receiver Sunday in Chicago, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
On the one hand, it works in favor of Golladay seeing more targets, following three straight games with exactly eight. On the other, it's yet another factor working against the Giants offense, which has been worst-in-the-league material throughout the second half of the season. Golladay hasn't topped three catches or 53 yards since Week 4, and he's unlikely to put up strong efficiency numbers with Jake Fromm and Mike Glennon at quarterback.

Golladay brought in three of eight targets for 22 yards in the Giants' 34-10 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Golladay was second on the team in receiving yards, but considering his actual total, that certainly qualifies as faint praise. The veteran offseason addition has unquestionably disappointed from both a football and fantasy sense during his first season in the Big Apple, but a significant chunk of the blame falls on the spotty play of the Giants' revolving door of quarterbacks. That was certainly a major factor in Sunday's meager production, and with either Jake Fromm or Mike Glennon slated to be under center again in Week 17 on the road against the Bears, Golladay's outlook is dim to say the least.

Golladay brought in three of seven targets for 53 yards in the Giants' 21-6 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Golladay's receiving yardage total led the Giants on an afternoon during which Mike Glennon and Jake Fromm combined to throw for just 178 yards. The veteran's upside continues to be capped by the revolving door and sub-par play under center, and Sunday's yardage tally counts as his highest since Week 4. Golladay's prospects of boosting his production in a Week 16 road divisional clash against the Eagles appear bleak irrespective of who's throwing him the ball.

Golladay caught two passes for 15 yards on eight targets in Sunday's 37-21 loss to the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Much like his struggles in general over the 2021 season, Golladay can't be entirely blamed for his disappointing results against the Chargers. Golladay makes his living downfield and on the sideline, where replacement quarterback Mike Glennon is weakest as a passer, but 15 yards on eight targets is still difficult to accept. Perhaps Golladay won't get it going during his first year with the Giants, but his next shot is against the Cowboys in Week 15.

Golladay (ribs) is listed as active Sunday at the Chargers, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Golladay gutted through a rib injury last Sunday in Miami, but he relayed after the 20-9 loss that an X-ray revealed no fractures. He proceeded to notch a pair of limited practices to cap Week 14 prep, and Adam Schefter of ESPN later reported that both Golladay and Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) were poised to play this weekend. Golladay has had modest results this year after landing a big payday in the offseason -- he has a 26-409-0 line on 46 targets in nine appearances -- and he may have a tough time posting his first TD of the campaign against a Chargers defense that has allowed the second fewest to wide receivers (six) through 12 games.

Golladay (ribs) is expected to play Sunday against the Chargers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Golladay suffered an injury to his ribs in the Giants' Week 13 defeat to Miami. After logging limited practices both Thursday and Friday, Golladay appears on track to be active and not miss any full games. Even so, it will be important to check the official inactives prior to kickoff at 4:05 P.M. ET. Golladay has yet to truly get on track in New York, as he's surpassed five receptions in only one of his nine games this season and reached 50 yards only four times.

Golladay (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dan Duggan of The Athletic believes Golladay and Shepard (quad) both are on track to play, while rookie Kadarius Toney (quad) officially is ruled out. It'll be Mike Glennon (concussion) throwing the passes Sunday after he received clearance from an independent neurologist to play. The Giants are scheduled for a 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.

Golladay (ribs) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
New York's top three wide receivers all logged some activity Thursday, with Golladay, Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) and Kadarius Toney (oblique) termed limited participants. According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, Golladay looked crisp while running routes in individual drills. Friday's injury report will reveal whether Golladay heads into the weekend with a designation or gets a clean bill of health ahead of Sunday's road game against the Chargers.
