Wright (shoulder) was a limited participant in the Bears' practice Thursday, Adam Hoge of WGN Radio 720 AM reports.
EDGE Analysis
In a Bears receiving corps that's already been hit hard by injuries this season, Wright's shoulder issue counts as a minor concern. His involvement in practices on back-to-back days -- even in a minor capacity -- suggests that the team is still counting on having Wright available for Sunday's matchup with the Steelers. With 103 receiving yards and 14 targets through the Bears' first two games, Wright has seen more work than any of the team's other wideouts, but his volume could take a hit with field-stretching threat Markus Wheaton (finger) expected to make his season debut in Week 3.

Wright was limited at Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder injury, Adam Hoge of WGN Radio 720 AM Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright sits behind Tarik Cohen (21) and Zach Miller (15) with 14 targets, yet his 103 receiving yards and five first downs lead the Bears. As long as Mike Glennon is under center, Wright figures to be a centerpiece of a passing attack that has lost Cameron Meredith (knee) for the season and Kevin White (shoulder) until at least midseason. However, with his own health concern evident, Wright's status should be monitored closely as the weekend draws closer.

Wright brought in seven of 10 targets for 69 yards in Sunday's 29-7 loss to the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Serving as the de facto No. 1 receiver on an injury-riddled Bears wideout corps, Wright was QB Mike Glennon's favorite target in the blowout loss. He ceded the team lead in receptions by one to RB Tarik Cohen, but he set the pace in both receiving yards and targets. There's been speculation that Wright's reunion with current Chicago offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains -- who served in the same capacity with the Titans in Wright's first two NFL seasons -- would lead to a resurgence for the 27-year-old receiver. Sunday's results lend credence to that notion, and given what will be a season-long absence on the part of Kevin White with a collarbone injury, Wright could certainly be primed for his best fantasy production in several seasons, especially in PPR formats.

Wright caught three passes for 34 yards in Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Wright was targeted four times, and each of those targets came within the last 12 minutes of the game. He could easily find himself being targeted much more frequently should Kevin White (collarbone) be forced to miss time with his latest injury, which would significantly increase his fantasy value.

Wright and Kevin White are listed as starters on the depth chart for Week 1 against the Falcons, the Bears' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said it will be a team-wide effort to replace Cameron Meredith (knee), who was locked in as the No. 1 target prior to tearing his ACL. Coach speak aside, Wright is the only healthy Chicago receiver with a solid NFL track record and was also the most productive target for the first-string offense during the preseason. The Bears may even use Wright outside in two-wide formations, though it's been a few years since he got significant run as anything besides a slot specialist. While White has the upside and big-play potential, Wright has a real shot to emerge as Mike Glennon's most trusted target. The team should get some help later this month when Markus Wheaton (finger) returns.

Wright caught three of five targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 19-7 win over the Titans.
EDGE Analysis
Wright came up big by converting a pair of third down passes from Mike Glennon to move the chains. He was later targeted on another third down, but the pass was too low to handle cleanly. Throughout the preseason, he's proven to be a reliable option in the slot, and he stands a great chance to open the regular season in that capacity.

Wright caught two of three targets for nine yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason win over the Cardinals
EDGE Analysis
Each of Wright's three targets, including a red-zone interception, came from starting quarterback Mike Glennon. The former Titan has served as the team's top slot receiver through the first two weeks of the preseason, leaving Victor Cruz without a clear role in the offense. Markus Wheaton (finger) could still push Wright for playing time down the line, but the former Steeler doesn't seem likely to be ready for Week 1.

Wright caught one pass for 14 yards while being targeted twice Thursday against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Wright functioned as the starting slot receiver, though it should be noted that Markus Wheaton (appendix) sat out. He found an opening in the defense and caught a 14-yard pass from Glennon to convert the Bears' initial first down of the game. He'll certainly be in the mix for slot duties, but the team's depth chart at receiver after Kevin White and Cam Meredith should be hotly contested over the next few weeks.

Wright signed a one-year deal worth up to $4 million Saturday with the Bears, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wright is the latest wide receiver to sign with the Bears, whose receiving corps is currently being revamped after the departure of Alshon Jeffery to the Eagles. Wright is coming off a poor season in Tennessee where he essentially played himself out of the lineup and finished with a career-low 29 catches for 216 yards and three touchdowns. Wright will have the opportunity early on to prove he's a capable wide receiver while competing with newcomer Markus Wheaton for a shot at potentially being the team's third wideout behind Cameron Meredith and Kevin White (fibula).

Wright is listed as inactive Sunday against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Wright has accumulated just 27 offensive snaps in back-to-back weeks, catching a combined four passes for 40 yards over two contests against Kansas City and Jacksonville. It won't be the first time Wright has been inactive for non-injury related reasons this season, leaving his any good standing with coach Mike Mularkey in question heading into 2017. In his stead, Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe will be in line for their regular roles, while Harry Douglas could see some more action in three wide receiver sets.
