Ex-Titans LB Keith Bulluck will officially retire from the NFL on Friday. Bulluck started 130 games for the Titans from 2000-09, racking up 1,265 tackles and 19 interceptions. Collecting All-Pro honors three times, Bulluck was a perennial leader on Jeff Fisher's physical Titans clubs of the past decade. He can expect to be inducted into the Titans' ring of honor.

Former Giants and Titans LB Keith Bulluck said Wednesday that he is comfortable retiring after an 11-year career. Bulluck was out of football in 2011, despite rumors linking him to the Lions. "A year removed, I really have no interest in coming back to play," he said. "I am comfortable with the position I am in. I had closure." Bulluck spent ten years with the Titans and 2010 with the Giants. Now 35, Bulluck was a one-time Pro Bowler (2003) and likely earned a spot in the Titans' Ring of Honor.

The Detroit Free Press considers free agent OLB Keith Bulluck a likely target for the Lions. Bulluck has expressed interest in reuniting with Jim Schwartz, and his addition would allow the Lions to keep DeAndre Levy at middle linebacker. Bulluck could play the weak side with Bobby Carpenter at SAM. It'd be an unimpressive linebacker corps on paper, but a potentially dominant front four will make the second level of Detroit's defense look much better regardless.

Free agent LB Keith Bulluk is interested in re-signing with the Giants, but only if he's promised a role on passing downs. "I don't have to be an every-down player," said Bulluck, "but I need to play to my strengths and that's the passing downs." The 34-year-old realizes he won't be a priority signing for any team. We suspect the Giants will let him walk, in which case the Lions may be his best chance of staying in a starting role.
