Texans LG Kasey Studdard underwent ankle surgery on Friday and will likely miss the remainder of the season. Studdard projected as a backup for 2011, though it's still a big blow to a Texans offensive line that's been historically thin and brittle. Antoine Caldwell and Shelley Smith will compete to move up on the depth chart in Studdard's absence.
