Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Joshua Dobbs boosted his trade value in the preseason finale against the Panthers on Thursday. NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that Dobbs is one of the quarterbacks that has "generated interest" around the league, and he could be dealt in the next 24 hours. Dobbs will start the final preseason game with the Steelers still evaluating him. Rookie quarterback Mason Rudolph is a lock for the roster and might serve as the direct backup to Ben Roethlisberger in 2018. That makes both Dobbs and Jones expendable.
