Steelers signed CB Josh Victorian from the team's practice squad. With Ike Taylor (ankle) out this week, Victorian was needed as depth insurance. Quarterback Brian Hoyer was let go in a corresponding move.

Saints waived CB Josh Victorian, LB Stephen Johnson, OG Nick Howell, OT Phil Trautwein, and OT Dan Hoch. They were all roster longshots from the get-go. Victorian is a former UDFA out of nearby Louisiana Tech. He needed a better rookie camp showing to last.
