Jacobs rushed 16 times for 71 yards and a touchdown and secured three of five targets for 30 yards in the Raiders' 26-24 win over the Chargers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs had just logged a career-high 28 carries against the Lions four days prior and is nearing the "rookie wall" portion of his first season, so it would have hardly been surprising to see him scuffle for yardage Thursday. However, Jacobs was as effective as usual, and he clinched the narrow victory via an 18-yard touchdown scamper with 1:02 remaining. Jacobs has now has three rushing scores over the last two games, and his 30 receiving yards Thursday were also a career high. He'll look to continue his strong rookie campaign against the vulnerable Bengals defense in Week 11 a week from Sunday.

Jacobs (shoulder) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs' unrestricted showing clears up any concern about his health heading into Thursday's game against the Chargers. The rookie should be in store for another sizable workload after earning no fewer than 17 touches in any of the Raiders' past five games.

Jacobs (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's practice estimate, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Raiders didn't hold a practice Monday, and Jacobs likely would've had a cap on his reps if they did. The rookie first-round pick has been dealing with this shoulder injury since Week 7's loss to the Packers, but he hasn't been held back, as he rushed a season-high 28 times for 120 yards and two scores in this past Sunday's 31-24 win over the Lions. At this time, there's no reason to think he won't be ready for Thursday's matchup against the Chargers.

Jacobs carried 28 times for 120 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 31-24 win over the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs notched a new career high in rush attempts while coming four yards shy of his personal best in that category. He scored a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter and added a three-yard score just before halftime, giving him three multi-touchdown games this season. He failed to haul in either of his two targets and continues to underwhelm as a receiver, but he's otherwise been a useful fantasy asset of late. Jacobs will look to keep it up Thursday in a Week 10 matchup against the Chargers.

Jacobs (shoulder) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs was limited at practice all week as he managed a shoulder issue, but it's something he played through in Week 8's loss to the Texans, en route leading the Oakland backfield with 15 carries for 66 yards and two catches for 15 yards. He'll look to up his production Sunday against a Lions defense that is allowing an average of 130.7 rushing yards per game, which ranks 26th in the NFL.

Jacobs (shoulder) remained limited at practice Thursday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs didn't practice last week until Friday, so he's already well ahead of where he was this time last week, on the heels of back-to-back limited sessions. We expect the running back to be out there for Sunday's 4:05 ET tilt against the Lions, but there's a decent chance the Raiders will officially list him as questionable on their final Week 9 injury report.

Jacobs (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant at Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Jacobs played through his shoulder issue in this past Sunday's loss to the Texans while leading the Raiders' backfield en route to recording 15 carries for 66 yards and catching both of his targets for 15 yards. With no reported setbacks in that contest, we'll assume his limitations Wednesday were simply a case of the team managing his practice reps in advance of this weekend's tilt against the Lions.

Jacobs carried 15 times for 66 yards and caught two passes for an additional 15 yards during Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Although Jacobs averaged a respectable 4.4 yards per carry against a solid Texans front, his 15 totes on the day were his fewest since Week 3. He made a slight contribution as a pass-catcher, but his total of 81 scrimmage yards was his second lowest of the season. While it wasn't his greatest effort to date, Jacobs' high floor for yardage and touches still makes him a solid fantasy play, and he should continue as such next Sunday at home against the Lions.

Jacobs (shoulder) is active for Sunday's tilt against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
This development was increasingly expected, with multiple late-week and weekend reports indicating Jacobs was trending in the right direction. The impressive rookie should be available for his usual workload Week 8 against a relatively tough Texans run defense.

Jacobs (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET game against the Texans after returning to a limited practice Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Per Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle, coach Jon Gruden tentatively expects Jacobs -- who has been dealing with a sore shoulder -- to play this weekend, "but we'll have to see how it goes." In the event that Jacobs is limited or made a surprise inactive against Houston on Sunday, DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard are next up for carries for the Raiders.
