Vikings waived/injured WR Josh Cooper. Cooper spent 2013 with new Vikings OC Norv Turner in Cleveland. The slot receiver type was waived with a non-football injury designation.

Vikings signed WR Josh Cooper. Cooper was cut by the receiver-needy Browns last month. He played for new Vikings OC Norv Turner in Cleveland last season and caught eight nine passes for 60 yards. Cooper will battle for one of the final spots on the 53-man roster.

Josh Cooper caught five passes for 34 yards in Cleveland's Week 17 loss to the Steelers. Cooper's eight targets were second only to Josh Gordon. Cooper ran as the Browns' No. 2 receiver for the final two weeks of the season, moving ahead of drop-prone Greg Little on the depth chart. A second-year undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State, Cooper will be in the mix for slot duties next season.
