Lions waived LB Jordon Dizon. Dizon completely blew out his knee in the 2010 preseason, damaging all three major ligaments. The 2008 second-round pick won't garner much attention around the league until he can prove his health. It's unclear if that will happen.

According to MLive.com's Tom Kowalski, LB Jordon Dizon is not part of the Lions' plans going forward. Dizon is under contract, but coming off a torn PCL and ACL, and damaged MCL after blowing out his knee in the 2010 preseason. Kowalski confirms that the odds are "stacked" against Dizon, and we don't see him making the team.
