Love is set to enter the 2024 season with a new-look backfield led by Josh Jacobs, who is slated to sign a four-year contract worth up to $48 million with the Packers, while Aaron Jones is moving on to Minnesota on a one-year contract, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Green Bay replacing Jones with Jacobs isn't the only piece of notable backfield news, as AJ Dillon is currently a free agent and the team's only depth now consists of Emanuel Wilson and Ellis Merriweather. Jacobs is coming off a down season, with just 805 yards on 233 carries (six touchdowns), but he's only one year removed from having led the NFL with 1,653 yards rushing on 340 carries (12 scores). Perhaps most importantly, Jacobs does boast a true three-down skillset, making him an ideal fit for coach Matt LaFleur's scheme, and providing Love with a reliable bailout option and target in the short field. Jacobs has two seasons with 50-plus catches under his belt, and he's a perfect match for the play-action game in Green Bay.

Love completed 21 of 34 passes for 194 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Saturday's 24-21 loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Love came into the contest on an excellent run, having thrown for multiple touchdowns in each of his last five games while also topping 250 yards four times in that span. He continued his multi-touchdown streak with tosses of 19 and two yards into the end zone, and he also delivered three completions of greater than 20 yards. However, he was held to only 5.7 yards per attempt and missed several throws, in part due to rainy conditions and in part caused by a tough matchup. Love also forced an ill-advised throw deep down the field on the Packers' final drive that was picked off, clinching the win for the 49ers. Though his season came to an end in heartbreaking fashion, Love established himself as Green Bay's franchise quarterback in his first campaign as a starter and has a multitude of talented young receivers that should form the core of a productive offense in 2024 and beyond.

Love completed 16 of 21 passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns while rushing once for minus-1 yard in Sunday's 48-32 wild-card round win over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Love was sensational in his playoff debut, though the Cowboys helped him out with numerous defensive breakdowns. After a pair of short Aaron Jones touchdown runs, Love extended Green Bay's lead to 20-0 with a 20-yard touchdown pass to Dontayvion Wicks in the second quarter. Jones and Love each added a touchdown in the third quarter, with Love's coming on a 38-yard pass to a wide open Luke Musgrave without a defender in sight. Love poured it on with a three-yard touchdown pass to Romeo Doubs, which put Green Bay up 48-16 in the fourth quarter, and he would have finished with a perfect passer rating if not for an incomplete pass on his final attempt. Up next for Love and the Packers will be a trip to San Francisco in the divisional round.

Love completed 27 of 32 passes for 316 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Love and the Packers' offense got off to a relatively slow start in the must-win contest, but he led a few key drives to clinch a playoff berth. The first was an 11-play, 92-yard drive that began early in the second quarter, which was capped by a 10-yard pass to Dontayvion Wicks. On the opening drive of the second half, Love hit Wicks again, this time for a 12-yard score. Love now has multiple touchdown passes in four straight games to close the season, and he also surpassed 300 passing yards in a game for the second time in the campaign thanks to long completions of 59 and 32 yards to Jayden Reed. He'll look to keep his current form going in an upset bid against the Cowboys in the wild-card round.

Love completed 24 of 33 passes for 256 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 33-10 win over the Vikings. He added two rushes for two yards and a touchdown.
EDGE Analysis
Love continued his second-half surge with an excellent primetime performance. He connected with Jayden Reed (chest) for a pair of touchdowns, which came from 33 and 25 yards away, and added a two-yard rushing touchdown in the first half. Love then chipped in an insurance score of nine yards to Bo Melton late in the third quarter, marking his second straight game with at least three total touchdowns and his fourth such performance in his last six contests. He'll look to carry that momentum into a win-and-in Week 18 matchup against the Bears.

Love completed 17 of 28 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 33-30 victory over the Panthers. He also had two carries for 12 yards and a touchdown.
EDGE Analysis
Love did not do a lot in the passing yardage department, but he did tally three scores for the third time in five games and did not turn the ball over. His next matchup will come against a Vikings defense that limited Love to 229 yards and one touchdown in Week 8 and limited opposing quarterbacks to just three total touchdowns over its last four contests.

Love completed 29 of 39 passes for 284 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Packers' 34-20 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday. He also rushed twice for one yard and lost a fumble.
EDGE Analysis
Love's passing yardage tally was his third-highest of the season, but it came during a game in which the Packers increasingly found themselves trailing. The third-year quarterback spread the ball around to eight different pass catchers and targeted nine overall, with four players recording at least four receptions. Love's fumble came on a sack with 4:28 remaining at Green Bay's own 49-yard line, snuffing out any final hopes of a comeback. Love now has at least 267 passing yards and multiple touchdown passes in five of his last six games, giving him plenty of momentum going into a Week 16 road matchup against the Panthers on Christmas Eve.

Love completed 25 of 39 passes for 218 yards with one touchdown and one interception and added two carries for two yards in the Packers' 24-22 loss to the Giants on Monday night. He also lost a fumble.
EDGE Analysis
Love's numbers have to be considered a disappointment under any circumstance, as the matchup appeared to be a favorable one coming in and both the quarterback and the Packers as a whole had plenty of momentum. The fourth-year pro did appear to put Green Bay in excellent position for a win with a six-yard touchdown pass to Malik Heath with 1:33 remaining, but Tommy DeVito was able to lead the Giants on a 57-yard game-winning march to secure the victory. Love's interception didn't lead to any points for New York but did come at the Giants' 23-yard line, and that pick was preceded by a fumble at the hosts' 27-yard line as well. He had thrown for at least 267 yards and two touchdowns in each of the previous four games coming into Monday night, and he hadn't thrown an interception in the last three contests. Love will aim to right the ship and keep his team's thin playoff hopes alive in a Week 15 home matchup against the Buccaneers.

Sun 12/3/23 11:55 PM

Love completed 25 of 36 pass attempts for 267 yards and three touchdowns while adding 10 rushing yards on two attempts in Sunday's 27-19 win over the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Love put together a statement win by outdueling active legend Patrick Mahomes on the national stage Sunday. The Packers' signal-caller picked apart a tough defense from the pocket, resulting in his second consecutive week completing at least 69 percent of his passes while throwing three touchdowns. Love has emphatically put an end to his midseason doldrums with eight touchdowns and no turnovers over his last three games. He will look to maintain that momentum in a plus matchup against the Giants next Monday.

Love completed 22 of 32 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns with 39 rushing yards on three carries in Thursday's 29-22 win over the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
The first-year starting QB shone in the Thanksgiving game spotlight, as Love tossed red-zone TDs to Jayden Reed and Tucker Kraft in the first quarter as the Packers raced out to a 14-6 lead. Love then hit Christian Watson for his final score late in the third quarter, tying his career high for touchdown passes and extending his streak of games with multiple TD passes to three. The 2020 first-round pick has a 7:2 TD:INT over those three games with a 62.5 percent completion rate and a 7.8 YPA, but Love will face a tough test in Week 13 against a stingy Kansas City secondary.
