Bartu (hamstring) was released with an injury settlement Tuesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

The Cardinals brought in veteran Sio Moore to replace Bartu. The linebacker failed to record a statistic in seven games with the Cardinals this season, playing exclusively on special teams.

The Falcons have waived Bartu.

The move was made to free up a roster spot for the team's signing of kicker Shayne Graham. Bartu, who recorded 82 tackles last season, has been limited to just 11 stops in seven 2015 contests.

Bartu tallied 83 tackles, one sack and two fumble recoveries in 2014. Bartu's 2014 numbers were eerily similar to his 2013 campaign. In 2013 he recorded 85 tackles and 3.5 sacks, so he's been a consistent producer in his first two years in the league. Look for him to improve in his third year in 2015.

Bartu notched nine total tackles (eight solo) in Sunday's loss to Cincinnati. Another solid game for Bartu, who is up to 19 total tackles on the year. He'd probably have more if he wasn't playing next to the league leader in tackles in Paul Worrilow. The linebackers will continue to rack up tackles and should be rostered in leagues that reward players for tackles.

Bartu tallied 10 total tackles (four solo) and recovered a fumble in overtime to set up a game winning field goal to knock off the Saints in Week 1. Bartu should continue to see plenty of tackle opportunities going forward. His biggest issue may be teammate Paul Worrilow getting to the ballcarrier first.
