Mingo (knee) is expected to begin the regular season on IR due to a PCL sprain suffered during Dallas' preseason loss to Baltimore on Saturday, Todd Archer of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mingo is expected to be sidelined 4-6 weeks, if not longer, due to the knee injury he picked up while hauling in a 49-yard reception in the third quarter Saturday. The third-year wideout will likely be placed on IR on Aug. 26, when the initial 53-man roster is finalized. Once healthy, Mingo will be competing for reps and targets with CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin.

Mingo was diagnosed with a PCL sprain in his right knee Monday, and the third-year wideout is expected to be sidelined for 4-to-6 weeks, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mingo injured his right knee during the Cowboys' preseason loss to the Ravens on Saturday. The timeline for his injury means he'll miss Dallas' regular-season opener against Philadelphia on Thursday, Sept. 4, though his absence could persist beyond Week 1 depending on how his recovery goes. With Mingo sidelined, Friday's preseason finale against the Falcons will provide Ryan Flournoy, Traeshon Holden and Jalen Brooks the opportunity to audition for the WR5 job.

Coach Brian Schottenheimer noted Monday that Mingo is in line to undergo additional tests on his knee, Jon Machota of The Athleticreports.
EDGE Analysis
Mingo suffered a PCL injury during Saturday's preseason game against Baltimore, and while he is slated to get further testing, Schottenheimer told reporters, "I don't think it's gonna be terribly serious." When available, the 24-year-old is looking to cement his standing in a Dallas wide receiver room that also includes CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin. The 2023 second-rounder played in 17 regular games last season (nine with Carolina and eight with Dallas), finishing with a combined 167 yards on 17 receptions.

Mingo suffered a PCL injury in his right knee during Saturday's preseason game against the Ravens, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mingo will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury, but it sounds like Mingo could miss some time. It's a tough break for Mingo after he made a splash play, reeling in a 49-yard catch versus Baltimore one play before he was injured. Mingo is competing for a role behind CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin in Dallas' wide receiver corps.

Mingo exited Saturday's preseason loss to the Ravens on Saturday with a knee injury and did not return, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mingo was targeted four times in the exhibition but caught just one for a gain of 49 yards. He was injured on the very next play after the long catch. Mingo is competing for a depth job at wide receiver behind CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin after Dallas traded a fourth-round pick to Carolina in exchange for Mingo last season.

Mingo caught both his targets for 24 yards in Sunday's loss to the Commanders.
EDGE Analysis
It's the first time in eight games for the Cowboys that Mingo caught multiple passes. A second-round pick of the Panthers in 2023, the Ole Miss product has struggled in the NFL so far, and he managed just a 17-167-0 line on 42 targets as a second-year pro over 17 appearances between Carolina and Dallas. Even on an affordable rookie contract, there's little reason to think Mingo will have a significant role in the Cowboys' passing game in 2025.

Mingo caught one of four targets for two yards in a 27-20 win over the Giants on Thanksgiving.
EDGE Analysis
The 2023 second-round pick hasn't found any more success so far in Dallas than he'd seen in Carolina. Mingo has received 10 targets in three games since being traded to the Cowboys, but he's caught only two of them for 10 yards. He's at best fifth on the wideout depth chart, competing for snaps with Jalen Brooks and Ryan Flournoy, and there's little reason to expect he'll show up on the fantasy radar over the final weeks of the season.

Mingo played 24 of the Cowboys' 83 offensive snaps and failed to reel in any of his four targets in Monday's 34-10 loss to the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Making his Cowboys debut after he was acquired from the Panthers on Nov. 5, Mingo was the only active Dallas skill-position player who finished without a reception on a night in which quarterback Cooper Rush dropped back 60 times and targeted 11 different pass catchers. Mingo finished fourth among Dallas receivers in snaps, but he could drop down a spot in the pecking order if Brandin Cooks (knee) -- who has resumed practicing this week -- is activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game at Washington.

Mingo is active for Monday's game against the Texans, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mingo was moved from Carolina to Dallas at the trade deadline on Nov. 5, but he understandably was held out Week 10 with only days to acclimate to a new offense. With another week of practice under his belt, he'll make his Cowboys debut Monday, but with Cooper Rush handling QB duties for Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb (back) the clear top option in the passing game, Mingo may be hard-pressed to produce. In 24 appearances with the Panthers, the 2023 second-round pick recorded 55 catches and no touchdowns on 111 targets.

Mingo is expected to make his Cowboys debut Monday night against the Texans, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mingo was acquired from the Panthers at the trade deadline but was a healthy inactive last Sunday against Philadelphia. Now with a full week of prep under his belt, Mingo appears ready to see the field. His offensive role remains unclear behind CeeDee Lamb and alongside Jalen Tolbert. With Cooper Rush throwing the passes, it's a hard pass on Mingo in fantasy.
