Webb went 2-for-6 for 35 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 13-7 win over the Colts. He also rushed five times for 27 yards.

EDGE Analysis

Webb was forced into duty after Nathan Peterman, who had drawn the Week 14 start in place of Tyrod Taylor (knee), was forced from the contest with a head injury. The versatile veteran unsurprisingly saw his pass attempts kept to a minimum, as the game was played in a persistent blizzard and the Bills had little trouble making significant gains in the running game throughout the afternoon. With Buffalo's top two signal callers now injured, it remains to be seen if Webb will be called upon to helm the offense in a Week 15 divisional clash against the Dolphins. However, given that Taylor will have another week to recover, it's also quite conceivable that he could be healthy enough to suit up by the time next Sunday rolls around.

Webb rushed three times for 27 yards and threw an incomplete pass in Buffalo's loss to New England on Sunday as the Bills sprinkled in some wildcat looks into their struggling offense.

EDGE Analysis

The pass surprised the Patriots and if Webb didn't overthrow Travaris Cadet it would have been one of the more creative touchdowns of the weekend. While it's pretty impossible to use Webb to gain a fantasy edge, the development could at least open up the Buffalo offense a bit if the Bills start using the wildcat look until someone shuts it down. The Patriots, who have been fantastic defensively lately, had a tough time with it.

Webb was signed Monday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

The new Buffalo brass came over from Carolina and they have familiarity with Webb, who was just released by the Panthers over the weekend. Him staying is no sure thing, as the Bills have two quarterbacks -- Tyrod Taylor and T.J. Yates -- still recovering from concussions. The Bills could decide to keep Webb over Yates, however, as the third QB.

Webb was released by the Panthers on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports.

EDGE Analysis

Webb's only realistic route to the final roster would have been if the team opted to carry three quarterbacks into the regular season, However, Cam Newton is seemingly back to full health, so the team has decided to go with two. Webb will either land on the team's practice squad or be left looking for a new opportunity.

Webb (neck) returned to practice Sunday, Joe Person of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Webb was held out of Thursday's preseason game against the Jaguars due to a neck strain, Max Henson of the Panthers' official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

Webb's absence led to Derek Anderson and Garrett Gilbert seeing most of the snaps in Thursday's win over Jacksonville. Whether or not Webb's neck strain will keep him out of the preseason finale has yet to be determined, but it appears he has a decent hold on the Panthers' No.3 quarterback spot provided the club opts to carry three quarterbacks on the active roster.

Webb completed seven of 14 passes for 128 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Wednesday's preseason opener against the Texans. He also rushed three times for 21 yards.

EDGE Analysis

Webb fared pretty well for himself after replacing backup Derek Anderson early in Wednesday's contest. The Panthers' third-stringer tossed a 50-yard touchdown during the second quarter, then followed that with an eight-yard score after halftime. Although Webb also threw a pick, he'll still be fairly pleased by his performance.

Webb completed all five of his pass attempts for 60 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against the Titans.

EDGE Analysis

Although Cam Newton and Derek Anderson are locked in as the No. 1 and 2 signal-calkers, Webb should find his way onto the final roster for a third straight season, as he's the league's only third-string quarterback who also has a key role on special teams. However, his two-year contract is right around the veteran's minimum, which suggests he isn't quite a lock to make the team.

Webb has signed a two-year contract to remain with the Panthers.

EDGE Analysis

Webb has spent the past two seasons as the Panthers' third-string quarterback, but given his unique athleticism, he's also featured on special teams and at wide receiver. A versatile, team-oriented player, Webb figures to continue in such roles going forward.

The Panthers have re-signed Webb, the team's official site reports.

Webb will continue to provide the Panthers with quarterback depth, plus he has played wide receiver and can help out on special teams, so while he's off the fantasy radar these days, Webb's versatility is an asset to the team.
