Webb completed 14 of 25 passes for 186 yards and one touchdown with one interception in Saturday's preseason Week 2 win over the Lions.
EDGE Analysis
Webb came in after Deshaun Watson played the first series of the game, getting heavy usage for the second straight week. With AJ McCarron sidelined by a thumb injury that could cause him to miss all of preseason, Webb is operating as the Texans' No. 2 quarterback for now.

Webb is returning to Houston on a one-year contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Webb is an interesting player to have in the fold given his capabilities on both offense and special teams. In addition to serving as a depth quarterback, the 32-year-old also functions as an emergency wide receiver -- which proved useful in 2018 when wideout injuries forced Webb into playing 32 offensive snaps in Week 14 against the Colts. In Houston, Webb is the clear third-string signal-caller behind Deshaun Watson and AJ McCarron.

Webb was pressed into duty as a slot receiver Sunday and caught two of three targets for 13 yards in a 24-21 loss to Indianapolis.
EDGE Analysis
Webb is Houston's third-string quarterback and a full-timer on special teams, but was needed when DeAndre Carter left the game with a concussion. Carter was getting reps because Keke Coutee (hamstring) was inactive for a third straight week. Coach Bill O'Brien preferred using the versatile Webb over an established wideout like Sammie Coates. Webb has NFL experience as a receiver, having caught eight career passes for 61 yards. If health issues linger into Week 15 against the Jets, the Texans could make Vyncint Smith active next week and have a couple of wide receivers on their practice squad in addition to Coates.

Webb was re-signed by the Texans on Sunday, NFL insider Adam Caplan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Webb was cut by the Texans on Saturday as the reserve quarterback was an original omission from the 53-man roster, but a spot became available and the team elected to bring back the versatile 31-year-old. He'll continue to provide depth behind starter Deshaun Watson with Brandon Weeden still on the roster as well.

Webb led the Texans in rushing and passing during Thursday night's win over the Chiefs in preseason Week 1. He completed 6-of-13 for 56 yards and rushed four times for 42 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Not surprisingly, Webb was off target on more than half of his throws, but his versatility was on full display. For a quarter-and-a-half, Webb played on various special teams units before being inserted at quarterback midway through the second quarter. He moved the chains a couple of times with his legs and apparently will do anything to make the team. At present, he's third on the depth chart behind Deshaun Watson and Brandon Weeden.

Webb signed with the Texans on Thursday, Jonathan Jones of Sports Illustrated reports.
EDGE Analysis
Webb has thrown only seven passes in an NFL game since 2011, with both attempts coming last season with the Bills after he was forced to play quarterback in an overtime game against the Colts that featured heavy snowfall. While Webb is still considered a quarterback, he'll likely be used in different spots on the field when needed given his diverse skill set and athleticism.

Webb (ankle) is active for Sunday's Wildcard game against the Jaguars, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Webb dealt with an ankle injury throughout the week, leading to his questionable tag entering Sunday's game. Though he's active, he's unlikely to see any game action unless both Tyrod Taylor and Nathan Peterman were to go down with injury.

Webb (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Webb was a limited participant in practice all week due to an undisclosed ankle injury. However, as the Bills' No. 3 signal caller, his potential absence isn't a pressing concern.

Webb will serve as the backup to Tyrod Taylor (knee) in Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Webb was the backup during the Bills' snow-filled overtime win over the Colts a week earlier, though he served as the understudy to Nathan Peterman for that contest after Taylor was ruled out. Peterman exited early with a concussion the victory, pressing Webb into regular-season action at quarterback for the first time since the 2011 season. Peterman remains in the concussion protocol and won't play this week, but once both he and Taylor are healthy again, Webb will fade back to the No. 3 role.

Webb went 2-for-6 for 35 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 13-7 win over the Colts. He also rushed five times for 27 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Webb was forced into duty after Nathan Peterman, who had drawn the Week 14 start in place of Tyrod Taylor (knee), was forced from the contest with a head injury. The versatile veteran unsurprisingly saw his pass attempts kept to a minimum, as the game was played in a persistent blizzard and the Bills had little trouble making significant gains in the running game throughout the afternoon. With Buffalo's top two signal callers now injured, it remains to be seen if Webb will be called upon to helm the offense in a Week 15 divisional clash against the Dolphins. However, given that Taylor will have another week to recover, it's also quite conceivable that he could be healthy enough to suit up by the time next Sunday rolls around.
