Ford (wrist) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per Petrak, head coach Kevin Stefanski relayed earlier this week that X-rays on Ford's hand and wrist were negative, but the running back's listed limitations Wednesday make his status worth tracking ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears. Along with Ford, Kareem Hunt (groin) also appeared on the Browns' initial Week 15 injury report, though Hunt was a non-participant in Wednesday's session.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that X-rays on Ford's injured wrist were returned negative, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford briefly exited Sunday's 31-27 win over the Jaguars when he appeared to injure his wrist/hand on a rushing attempt in the fourth quarter, but he later checked into the game and finished the day with 12 carries for 51 yards and five receptions (on six targets) for 31 yards. Though follow-up X-rays revealed no fracture to Ford's wrist, the running back still could be dealing with soreness or ligament damage that may affect his practice participation leading up to this Sunday's game against the Bears. Fantasy managers will want to continue monitoring Ford's status leading up to the Week 15 contest.

Ford rushed the ball 12 times for 51 yards in Sunday's 31-27 win over the Jaguars. He added five receptions on six targets for 31 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Ford split carries nearly evenly with Kareem Hunt, but he separated himself as a pass catcher. On the ground, most of Ford's production came on a 26-yard gain early in the second quarter. He also has at least five targets in three of his last four games and has topped 30 receiving yards in consecutive contests. Ford should retain a valuable role in the offense moving forward; however, his status will be worth monitoring leading up to a Week 15 matchup against the Bears, as Ford was headed for X-rays on his hand or wrist following the win, per Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Ford carried the ball nine times for 19 yards and caught all three of his targets for 33 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-19 loss to the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
He and Kareem Hunt essentially switched roles in this one, as Hunt led the Browns with 12 carries but it was Ford who made an impact through the air. How much of that usage was due to Joe Flacco being under center rather than rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson (concussion) isn't yet clear, but the backfield duo figures to remain in some sort of timeshare heading into a Week 14 clash with the Jaguars' stout run defense.

Ford carried the ball nine times for 65 yards and caught four of seven targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 29-12 loss to the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Despite his big 7.2 yards per carry average, Ford failed to get double-digit carries for only the third time this season as the Browns struggled to control the ball with rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson (concussion) and then PJ Walker under center. Ford remains the team's top backfield option over Kareem Hunt (seven touches for 22 yards Sunday), and he's topped 70 scrimmage yards in three of the last four games despite the turmoil around him in the offense. Regardless of who's at quarterback, Ford should see a significant role in Week 13 against the Rams.

Ford is expected to have a significant role Week 12 against the Broncos, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cleveland's Week 12 gameplan shouldn't change much from last week -- ride the combination of Ford and Kareem Hunt while making short, manageable throws from rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson. What makes the plan enticing is the Broncos' last-in-the-league run defense, which has allowed 160 yards per game. That average is partially skewed by a Week 3 loss to Miami (350 rushing yards), but even on its current four-game win streak, Denver has given up 5.3 yards per carry. Ford, who is now five weeks removed from a high-ankle sprain, could see a heavy workload in Denver.

Ford rushed the ball 12 times for 31 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 13-10 win over the Steelers. He added two receptions on five targets for eight yards.
EDGE Analysis
In a change from prior weeks, Ford split work out of the Cleveland backfield exactly evenly with Kareem Hunt. Neither put up an impressive line, but Ford did cash in a one-yard score to record the Browns' only touchdown of the day. While that saved his performance in Week 11, he may have difficulty finding success with Dorian Thompson-Robinson under center, as opposing defenses may be willing to crowd the line of scrimmage. Big numbers may be particularly hard to come by if Ford continues to evenly split work with Hunt.

Ford rushed the ball 17 times for 107 yards in Sunday's 33-31 win over the Ravens. He added one reception for two yards.
EDGE Analysis
Ford continued to lead the Browns backfield, as he out-touched Kareem Hunt by an 18-10 margin. He recorded his second 100-yard effort of the season and also became only the second back to reach the century mark on the ground against the Ravens. Much of that came on big plays of 28 and 13 yards, though Ford averaged an impressive 6.3 yards per carry overall. Since Cleveland's bye in Week 5, Ford has topped 80 yards from scrimmage in three of five games.

Ford rushed 20 times for 44 yards and secured five of seven targets for 33 yards in the Browns' 27-0 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Ford outpaced backfield mate Kareem Hunt by six carries, and neither back was able to find much success save for Hunt's short touchdown run against what had been a fairly porous Cardinals run defense. However, Ford was able to partly make up for the inefficient day on the ground with impressive volume as a receiver, and his hefty workload dispelled any concerns about the condition of his previously gimpy ankle. Ford is likely to remain the de facto lead back in a Week 10 road divisional showdown against the Ravens.

Ford (ankle) practiced fully Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford upgraded to full participation Friday after being limited Wednesday and Thursday. He injured his ankle in Week 7 against the Colts and played through the injury in Week 8 against the Seahawks, though Ford handled only nine carries compared to 14 for Kareem Hunt and 10 for Pierre Strong. Hunt and Strong could remain involved Sunday, but if Ford's close to full health, he'll likely reclaim the lead back role in a Browns offense that will be welcoming back starting quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder).
