Ford rushed the ball nine times for 17 yards in Saturday's 45-14 loss to the Texans. He added four receptions on four targets for 15 yards.
EDGE Analysis
Ford fell slightly behind Kareem Hunt in total workload out of the backfield and lost out on touches near the goal line and as a receiver. Even when he did have the ball in his hands, he was held in check by the Texans' defense to turn in a disappointing final game of the campaign. Overall, Ford had the chance to serve as Cleveland's lead back for much of the season due to Nick Chubb (knee) being sidelined and managed an impressive nine total touchdowns with 1,132 yards from scrimmage. Chubb's status from a health and contract perspective is ambiguous at this point, so Ford may maintain a significant role in Cleveland's offense in 2024.

Ford rushed three times for six yards and caught two of three targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 31-14 loss to the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
Neither Ford nor Kareem Hunt (zero carries, one catch) saw much involvement with the Browns locked in as the top wild card in the AFC. Pierre Strong led Cleveland's backfield with 14 carries for 65 yards before exiting with a back injury. Ford finishes the regular season with 813 yards and four touchdowns on 204 rushing attempts, as well as 44 catches for 319 yards and five touchdowns on 63 targets. He will likely return to his usual role as the 1A backfield option for the Browns with Hunt working as the 1B against the Texans in the wild-card round.

Ford isn't expected to play Sunday against the Bengals, despite being in uniform for pregame warmups, Tony Grossi of 850 ESPN Cleveland reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford is active for the game, but with the Browns locked in as the No. 5 seed in the AFC playoffs, he looks to be one of several Cleveland starters who will get little or no playing time as the team prioritizes his health ahead of the wild-card round. Pierre Strong -- typically the third man on the depth chart -- was spotted working out with the first-team offense in warmups and could end up serving as Cleveland's lead back, while Kareem Hunt may stick as the No. 2 option ahead of Ford.

Ford rushed 12 times for 64 yards and secured two of three targets for 57 yards and two touchdowns in the Browns' 37-20 win over the Jets on Thursday night. He also recovered a fumble.
EDGE Analysis
Ford found consistent room against a Jets defense that has been spotty against the run all season, but his biggest contributions came through the air. He got the scoring on the night started with a seven-yard touchdown grab in the first quarter, and he followed it up with an impressive 50-yard catch and run that saw him power his way into the end zone with 1:25 remaining in the first half. The second-year back's rushing yardage total was his best since Week 12, while his receiving yardage tally qualified as a season high. Ford figures to continue playing a key role in Cleveland's upcoming playoff appearances, and it remains to be seen how much time he'll log in a Week 18 regular-season finale against the Bengals on Sunday, Jan. 7.

Ford carried the ball 15 times for 25 yards and a touchdown and caught one of two targets for minus-2 yards in Sunday's 36-22 win over the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
The running back opened the scoring early in the first quarter with a four-yard run, but Ford didn't make much impact after that as the Browns' offense turned into the Amari Cooper Show, with the wideout setting a franchise record with 265 receiving yards. It was Ford's first rushing TD since Week 11 and his seventh touchdown of the season in total, and the second-year year back sits just 21 scrimmage yards shy of 1,000 for the campaign heading into a Week 17 clash with the Jets.

Ford (wrist) was a full practice participant Thursday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford returned to a Week 14 contest after suffering the wrist injury and then played through it last week in a 20-17 win over the Bears. The bigger problems for his fantasy value are Cleveland's terrible injury luck on the offensive line and the reality that Kareem Hunt and Pierre Strong are combining for 35-to-50 percent of the backfield work most weeks. It'll likely be the same story this Sunday at Houston.

Ford (wrist) is listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford injured his wrist Week 14 but returned to the game and then avoided an injury designation ahead of the Week 15 win over Chicago. He should be ready for Sunday's game in Houston, reprising his role as the leader of Cleveland's three-man backfield.

Ford carried the ball eight times for 20 yards and caught four of five targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year RB posted his lowest scrimmage yards total of the season after dealing with a wrist issue in practice during the week, but it was still enough to lead the Cleveland backfield as Kareem Hunt managed just 20 yards on eight touches. Ford remains the top fantasy option of the duo, particularly as a result of taking over primary receiving-back duties -- he's caught at least three passes in four straight games, posting a 16-89-1 line on 21 targets over that stretch in addition to his 155 rushing yards. Ford will look to rebound in Week 16 against the Texans.

Ford (wrist) doesn't carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ford was limited at practice Wednesday and Thursday, before returning to a full session Friday. Fellow RB Kareem Hunt (groin) also practiced fully Friday and will be available Sunday. In last weekend's 31-27 win over the Jaguars, Ford logged 43 of a possible 76 snaps on offense en route to recording 12 carries for 51 yards and catching five of his six targets for 31 yards. Meanwhile, Hunt was out there for 28 of a possible 76 snaps on offense, while carrying 10 times for 27 yards and a TD and adding one catch for three yards. Look for a similar timeshare to be in play versus Chicago, a context that gives both backs a degree of fantasy lineup utility in Week 15.

Ford (wrist) remained limited at practice Thursday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Following back-to-back capped sessions, Ford probably will need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Bears. The same applies to fellow RB Kareem Hunt (groin), who returned to a limited practice Thursday after logging a DNP on Wednesday.
