Jermaine Gresham (abdomen) is not practicing Thursday. Perhaps Gresham's injury is more serious than initially thought. And since the Bengals can only earn a first-round bye if the Patriots lose at home to the Bills, it's possible he'll be held out of Week 17.

Jermaine Gresham (abdomen) did not practice Tuesday. It's only Tuesday and it's Christmas Eve, so Gresham is likely just taking a rest day. He played through the issue last week and caught three passes for 49 yards and a score. Tyler Eifert (neck) also sat out on Tuesday.

Jermaine Gresham (hip) is practicing Wednesday. Gresham exited Sunday night's game against the Steelers in the third quarter. He's not a fantasy option this week against the Vikings, but owners that were eyeing Tyler Eifert as a fill-in will likely have to look elsewhere.

Jermaine Gresham sustained a hip injury during the third quarter of Sunday night's loss at Pittsburgh and did not return. The Bengals did not comment on the severity of the injury immediately following the game. Gresham isn't a standalone fantasy option, but his potential absence would open things up for Tyler Eifert. The rookie caught all three of his Week 15 passes -- including his touchdown -- after Gresham left. The duo has canceled each other out all season long.

He struggled to get separation all night and lost a costly fumble in the third quarter. He's merely a low-end TE2 for Week 16 against the Vikings.

His touchdown was of the one-yard variety on a play-action fake. Gresham was standing wide open in the left side of the end zone. He's merely a low-end TE2.

He'll continue to be used in two tight end sets with Tyler Eifert and is just a low-end TE2. Jermaine Gresham (groin) returned to practice Wednesday. Gresham was inactive for Week 10 against the Ravens but ran routes at full speed ahead of the game. It appears he'll be back this week versus Cleveland. Both Gresham and Tyler Eifert are nothing more than low-end TE2 options.
