ESPN's Ed Werder reports ex-Colts C Jeff Saturday has "no interest" in un-retiring to sign with the Broncos after C Dan Koppen was lost for the season. Saturday is one of Peyton Manning's most notable former teammates, but is all the way down to the 230-240 pound range, and appeared done with the Packers last season. He wouldn't have been a realistic option in Denver even if he were interested in giving football another go.

Jeff Saturday is expected to sign a one-day contract in Indianapolis so he can retire as a Colt. Peyton Manning's center spent 13 seasons with the Colts, starting 188 games, going to five Pro Bowls and winning one Super Bowl. Saturday announced his retirement last month after one failed season in Green Bay.

Packers released C Jeff Saturday. It's a procedural move after Saturday retired in late January. Saturday played 14 seasons in the NFL, 13 with the Indianapolis Colts. He earned two All-Pro nods and was a six-time Pro Bowler. Saturday is not a likely HOF candidate.

Packers C Jeff Saturday announced his retirement from the NFL. "We'll finish it with sunsets in Hawaii and call it a much better career than I would have anticipated," said Saturday, a former undrafted free agent out of North Carolina. Saturday, 37, ends a 14-year career, 13 of which were spent with the Colts. Saturday made six Pro Bowl trips and was a two-time first-team All-Pro selection. He probably isn't a realistic Hall of Fame candidate, but he certainly deserves a spot in the Colts' Ring of Honor.

Packers C Jeff Saturday is expected to retire. Saturday signed a two-year deal last offseason and started the first 14 games before he was benched in favor of Evan Dietrich-Smith. The small, undersized 37-year-old was pushed around in the run game. Even if he doesn't hang up the cleats, Saturday is fully unexpected to be back in Green Bay.

The Packers have benched C Jeff Saturday in favor of Evan Dietrich-Smith. This may be the end of the line for Saturday, who turned 37 in June and is owed nearly $4 million in 2013 salary and bonuses. The Packers had not been pleased with his run blocking. As NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal has noted, Saturday currently leads all NFL offensive linemen in Pro Bowl voting, which strongly reinforces the notion that Pro Bowl voting is a complete sham.

Jeff Saturday is taking every first-team rep at center, as expected. The Packers are set at all five positions along their offensive line. Saturday brings veteran leadership to a unit that returns its four other starters. On paper, it's perhaps the best offensive line in the entire league.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports free agent C Jeff Saturday is close to a deal with the Packers. Saturday is choosing the best chance at a ring over a reunion with Peyton Manning. The Broncos will move forward with J.D. Walton while the Titans may have to take a look at former Eagles center Jamaal Jackson.

Reportedly interested in signing free agents C Jeff Saturday and TE Jacob Tamme, the Broncos are being held up by stiff competition from other teams. According to NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora the Seahawks are "very intent" on signing Tamme after losing John Carlson to the Vikings. With strong interest from the Packers and Titans, Saturday is weighing all three options rather than simply following Peyton Manning to Denver.

Free agent C Jeff Saturday won't visit the Broncos until Friday. Saturday has little incentive to rush his potential reunion with Peyton Manning since it could only hurt his negotiating position. He'll visit the Packers and Titans before hoping to Denver. The Broncos remain Saturday's most likely landing spot, but any time a player takes a visit, there's a chance he won't leave.
