Heuerman (groin) was limited at practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Heuerman's status for Sunday's game against the Falcons is thus worth tracking, though with just one catch in each of his two games this season to his credit, he's only an option in deeper formats.

Heuerman recorded a 19-yard reception in Sunday's win over Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
In some respects it was a similar performance as his NFL debut in Week 3 - one target, one catch down the field. That's not the whole story, however. Heuerman's offensive snaps increased from 19 in Week 3 to 28 in Week 4 - just one behind starter John Phillips. He's a good bit away from establishing himself as a viable fantasy threat, but one can easily picture him carving a role for himself as a downfield threat even after starter Virgil Green returns.

Heuerman caught his first NFL pass, a 29-yard reception, in Sunday's win over Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
The pass, a deep corner down the left sideline late in the 4th quarter, gave a glimpse as to why Denver drafted him in the third round of the 2015 draft. Heuerman clearly has the ability to stretch the field, but it's fair to wonder whether he'll be able to secure more than a bit role in the short term once starter Virgil Green comes back. Heuerman's torn ACL last year and hamstring trouble in training camp have limited his reps in the offense. John Phillips provides a veteran backup to Green, making Heuerman - seen as the potential starter earlier in camp - the No. 3 at the moment.

Heuerman will make his NFL debut Sunday against the Bengals, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
EDGE Analysis
Heuerman's first appearance Sunday will come after calf and hamstring ailments impeded the opening portion of his career. With fellow tight end Virgil Green (calf) out Sunday, Heuerman's debut comes at an opportune time, but it remains to be seen how involved the rookie third-rounder will be right away, and he's also expected to serve as backup to veteran John Phillips.

Heuerman is expected to play in Sunday's tilt with the Bengals, Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Heuerman could make his NFL debut on Sunday, a year after being drafting in the third round by the Broncos. The Ohio State product has dealt with a string of injuries since coming into the league, ranging from season-ending knee injury to a recent hamstring aliment. "It was a little bit frustrating, but I'm feeling good now and I'm ready to get out there this weekend," Heuerman said on Thursday. If he is able to get in the game, he could fill in for Virgil Green, who is currently questionable as he nurses a calf injury.

Heuerman is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Heuerman did not draw an injury designation Friday, so it appears as though his inactive status is a coach's decision. The tight end is thus a break or two away from the fantasy radar.

Heuerman (ankle) was not listed on Denver's final Week 2 injury report, Mike Kils of 9News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Heuerman practiced in full on Thursday and Friday after being limited on Wednesday. Though he's healthy, he's the team's No. 2 option at tight end and isn't likely to have much of any fantasy value.

Heuerman practiced in full Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Heuerman was limited during Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury, but it seems as if he'll be ready for Sunday's game after practicing fully Thursday. The 23-year-old has dealt with more than his fair share of injuries during his short career, but the Broncos still believe that he can push Virgil Green for the starting gig this season.

Heuerman (hamstring) was a limited participant in the Broncos' practice on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old injured his hamstring on Aug. 17, and has been easing his way back into action. His status for Sunday's matchup with Colts will likely depend on how his hamstring reacts to this week's workload.

Heuerman (hamstring) is inactive for Thursday's regular season opener against Carolina.
EDGE Analysis
Listed behind Virgil Green on the Broncos' TE depth chart, Heuerman will remain a speculative fantasy play until he gets some regular season action on his pro resume. After being selected in the third round of the 2015 NFL draft, Heuerman's rookie season was derailed by a knee injury that saw him placed on IR.
