The Colts have waived Demps, the team's official site reports. In the wake of the recent NFL draft, the Colts also let go receiver Kadron Boone, defensive end Gannon Conway and offensive tackle Matt Hall. Thanks to his wheels, however, Demps could catch on elsewhere as a returner.

Demps was signed to the Indianapolis practice squad. Demps is likely insurance in case Josh Cribbs doesn't work out as the team's return specialist.
