Saints re-signed DE Jay Richardson. The six-year veteran was released at final cuts. If Richardson is active for Sunday's game against the Bucs, it will be his first appearance since 2010.

Jets signed DE Jay Richardson, formerly of the Seahawks. The 28-year-old Richardson was out of football last season. A 6-foot-6, 280-pound defensive end, Richardson will vie for a roster spot at "five technique" in training camp. Richardson has seven career sacks in 55 games.
