Smith-Njigba will very likely be the primary driver of the Seattle passing game in Sunday's Super Bowl LX matchup against the Patriots.

The league's leading receiver simply couldn't be covered Sunday as he routinely created separation from whatever defender Los Angeles assigned to cover him. JSN was particularly wide open when he hit pay dirt after lining up out of the backfield in the closing moments of the second quarter, giving Seattle the lead heading into halftime. Smith-Njigba has risen to the occasion at every step during his breakout 2025 campaign, culminating in his greatest opportunity to shine on Feb. 8 against the Patriots in Super Bowl LX.

Smith-Njigba recorded three receptions on four targets for 19 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 41-6 divisional-round win over the 49ers.

EDGE Analysis

The Seahawks held a commanding lead for nearly the entire game, leading to only 17 pass attempts. That resulted in a modest stat line for Smith-Njigba, though he did manage an impressive four-yard catch in the back corner of the end zone to put the team up 17-0 late in the first quarter. Seattle will very likely be pushed more in the NFC Championship Game, and Smith-Njigba will remain Sam Darnold's primary target.

Smith-Njigba recorded six receptions on eight targets for 84 yards in Saturday's 13-3 win over the 49ers.

Smith-Njigba still managed a solid eight targets, double the amount of any other Seattle pass catcher. Half of his six receptions also went for over 15 yards, helping him top 80 receiving yards for the fourth time in his last five games. With the performance, Smith-Njigba ends the regular season with 118 receptions for 1,793 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

Smith-Njigba caught nine of 12 targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Panthers.

The star wideout dominated looks from Sam Darnold, as no other Seattle player saw more than three targets. Smith-Njigba has fallen too far off the pace to have a serious chance of threatening Calvin Johnson's single-season NFL record for receiving yards, but he'll still take a 113-1,709-10 line on 154 targets into a Week 18 meeting with the 49ers, with the No. 1 seed in the NFC potentially on the line for the Seahawks.

Smith-Njigba secured eight of 13 targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' 38-37 overtime win over the Rams on Thursday night.

Smith-Njigba was shockingly shut out in the first half, but the star wideout made up for it in the second half and overtime. The star wideout delivered his touchdown in the extra period to get Seattle within a point before Eric Saubert snagged a game-winning two-point conversion reception. Prior to the scoring catch, Smith-Njigba also recorded a critical 17-yard reception earlier in the possession to move the Seahawks into Rams territory, and he finished with his best reception tally in the last four games. Smith-Njigba will head into a Week 17 road matchup against the Panthers on Sunday, Dec. 28 with a 104-1,637-10 line on a whopping 143 targets.

Smith-Njigba corralled seven of nine targets for 113 yards in Sunday's 18-16 win over the Colts.

Smith-Njigba recorded his ninth 100-plus yard game of the season as he continues to terrorize opposing defenses. The 23-year-old currently sits four receptions shy of hitting the 100-catch mark in consecutive seasons. Despite nearly matching last year's total, JSN has already outproduced his sophomore campaign by 411 yards and three touchdowns in three fewer appearances. Smith-Njigba will continue being the focal point of Seattle's offense in an NFC West showdown against the Rams on Thursday Night Football in Week 16.

Smith-Njigba caught seven of 10 targets for 92 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 37-9 win over the Falcons.

After not being needed in last week's rout of the Vikings, Smith-Njigba was a bigger part of the game plan this time around, hauling in a 28-yard TD from Sam Darnold in the third quarter and a four-yard score in the fourth as the Seahawks pulled away in the second half. JSN has fallen off his 2,000-yard pace over the last couple weeks, but he still leads the NFL by a wide margin with 1,428 yards through 13 games, to go along with 89 catches and nine touchdowns. The third-year wideout will look for another big performance in Week 15 against the Colts.

Smith-Njigba finished with two receptions on four targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 26-0 win over the Vikings.

Smith-Njigba's fantasy managers suffered through an unfavorable game script that saw Seattle's defense and rushing attack take care of Minnesota in Week 13. QB Sam Darnold completed just 54 percent of his passes while failing to establish any rhythm while the game was still competitive in the first half. The end result was Smith-Njigba's worst fantasy score of 2025, which comes on the heels of his most-dominant showing against the Titans last Sunday (8-167-2). JSN is still the clear WR1 in fantasy this season even with this dud, carrying a sparkling 82-1,336-7 receiving line into next Sunday's tilt against the Falcons.

Smith-Njigba recorded eight receptions on 10 targets for 167 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Titans. He added one rush for four yards.

EDGE Analysis

Smith-Njigba was the only threat in the Seattle passing game, as he accounted for half of Sam Darnold's completions and over two-thirds of his passing yards. That damage came primarily on a pair of receptions over 50 yards, including a 63-yard catch deep down the right sideline to begin the second quarter. The second was a 56-yard grab, which he followed up with a 13-yard score two plays later. Smith-Njigba set a season-high in receiving yards with the performance and now has 100 yards in eight of his 11 contests.
