Worilds has decided to retire from football, according to his agent. Worilds was a potential option for several teams in free agency, but he has "opted to pursue other interests," in his words. He played his entire five-year career with the Steelers and will finish with 204 total tackles and 25.5 sacks in 73 games.

Worilds could explore the free agent market, according to Steelers.com. "Jason had a good year for us," said GM Kevin Colbert. "I don't think you've seen the best of him, either with the Steelers or as a potential player for someone else's team. We will see where the market goes."Worilds led Pittsburgh with 7.5 sacks in 2014, and they may elect to use the transition tag on Worilds for a second-consecutive season. The Steelers are currently $1.72 million over the 2015 salary cap, making it difficult to resign him otherwise.

Worilds totaled five tackles (all solo) in Pittsburgh's 27-17 win over Cincinnati on Sunday night. Worilds finished the season with 59 tackles including a team-high 7.5 sacks, with two fumble recoveries and an interception. The free agent was an integral part of the Steelers' defense and will look to add to his statistics against the Ravens on Saturday, against whom his lone interception came earlier this season.

Worilds recorded six tackles (three solo) and a fumble recovery in the Steelers' 42-21 win over the Bengals on Sunday. Worilds continues to have a strong 2014 campaign, with 50 tackles, two fumble recoveries and an interception on the season.

Worilds totaled a team-high 10 tackles (five solo) including a sack in Pittsburgh's 35-32 loss to New Orleans on Sunday. Pittsburgh recorded just the one sack, giving Worilds 4.5 on the season to lead the team. Week 14 presents a difficult challenge against the Bengals, who have allowed just 15 sacks through 12 games this season, second best in the league.

Worilds recorded five tackles (two solo) including 1.5 sacks against the Jets on Sunday. Worilds is now second on the team with 3.5 sacks this season, and will next face a Tennessee offesnive line that allows opponents nearly three sacks per game.

Worilds collected two tackles (both solo), including a sack in the Steelers' 17-9 win over Jacksonville on Sunday. The sack was only Worilds' second this season, which sadly leads a Pittsburgh defense with just eight sacks through five games. It may not get any better in Week 6, when the Steelers head to Cleveland, which has allowed just five sacks this season.

Worilds totaled five tackles (three solo), including a sack in the Steelers' 30-27 win over Cleveland Sunday. Worilds, who led Pittsburgh with eight sacks in 2013, picked up right where he left off, and the three team sacks are encouraging for a defense that totaled just 34 last season. Worilds is worthy of fantasy consideration in IDP formats.

Worilds (knee) is expected to play Sunday against the Browns, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Worilds injured his knee earlier in the preseason, but tests later showed that there was no structural damage to his knee, so he should be good to go to start the season. The linebacker finished last season with 63 tackles and eight sacks over 15 games for the Steelers.

Worilds left Thursday's preseason game against the Eagles as a precaution and doesn't have any structural damage to his knee, Ian Rapoport of ESPN reports. Worilds has progressed throughout his four seasons in the NFL and it seems like he'll have a chance to continue that improvement since his knee injury is minor. He stands to play a major role in the Steelers' defense this season and would have been sorely missed had he suffered a serious injury Thursday.
