Jarius Wright caught three passes for 31 yards in Week 9 against Dallas. The three catches tied a season-high while the 31 yards fell four yards short of Wright Week 3 total, telling you all you need to know. The No. 4 receiver is on pace to catch just 22 passes this season. He's not on the fantasy radar.

Jarius Wright caught one pass for 15 yards in Week 7 against the Giants. Wright was targeted five times. Josh Freeman threw the ball 53 times, so that explains that. Wright is the No. 4 receiver and isn't a fantasy option.

Jarius Wright had three catches for 35 yards in Week 3 against the Browns. Wright was targeted four times in the passing game and continues to lose playing time to rookie Cordarrelle Patterson. He's no higher than the Vikings' No. 4 receiver and remains off the fantasy radar.

Vikings WR Jarius Wright has been medically cleared following his August 16 concussion. He's sitting out Minnesota's third preseason game, but should be all systems go for Week 1. Wright is the Vikings' No. 3 receiver behind Greg Jennings and Jerome Simpson. Rookie Cordarrelle Patterson is pushing for Simpson's job.

Vikings WR Jarius Wright suffered a concussion in the team's second preseason game Friday night. Wright will likely miss the Vikings' third preseason game. Through two exhibition contests, the sophomore wideout has been a staple in three-receiver sets alongside Greg Jennings and Jerome Simpson, catching three passes for 26 yards.

The Vikings' coaching staff continues to praise WR Jarius Wright. "The bottom line with Jarius is he knows what to do all of the time," OC Bill Musgrave said. "He can help the other guys in that room." Coach Leslie Frazier was equally effusive. "His maturity for his age. ... He's a very knowledgeable guy, very conscious guy." Wright caught 22 passes for 310 yards in seven games after Percy Harvin went down last season. He'll open 2013 in the slot. He's a WR4/5 flier in PPR leagues.

Vikings WR Jarius Wright has been turning heads in camp. ESPN's Kevin Seifert calls Wright the "most impressive receiver" in Vikes camp. "He's done a fantastic job outside the numbers as well as in the slot," OC Bill Musgrave said. Wright should see most of his time in the slot, but Seifert believes he could occasionally kick outside. Wright has big-play ability, but as the No. 3 receiver, at best, in Christian Ponder's offense, his fantasy upside is low.

1500ESPN.com considers Jarius Wright a situational No. 4 receiver. Wright flashed some ability following Percy Harvin's ankle injury last season, recording 22 catches for 310 yards with two touchdowns in just seven games. He's a big-play threat, but is too raw to be counted on as an every-down wideout. The Vikings should be looking for another receiver in the draft to push current No. 2 man Jerome Simpson.

Profootballtalk.com reports that the Vikings offered the Ravens a seventh-round pick for Anquan Boldin before he was traded to San Francisco for a sixth-rounder on Monday. Vikings GM Rick Spielman whiffed on Boldin, but he's obviously in the market for receiver help. Minnesota's only wideouts under contract for 2013 are Jarius Wright, Greg Childs, Stephen Burton, and Chris Summers. We expect the Vikings to pursue free agents Greg Jennings and Danny Amendola on Tuesday afternoon.

Jarius Wright managed just two catches for 13 yards in the Vikings' Wild Card loss to Green Bay. A week after burning the same Packers secondary for 90 yards and a touchdown, rookie Wright had minimal impact with Joe Webb at the controls. Wright, a 2012 fourth-round pick out of Arkansas, wound up appearing in seven regular season games, primarily as Percy Harvin's injury replacement. He caught 22 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns. We're not overly optimistic about Wright emerging as a fantasy factor in 2013, but he certainly brings some big-play ability to the table.
