Packers coach Mike McCarthy "hopes" to have James Jones (knee) for Week 8, but admits he was given a 2-3 week timetable upon going down in Week 6. "James is not your normal guy," McCarthy said at Monday's presser. "Genetically gifted." Be that as it may, Jones is still likely to miss one more game. His status will be updated on Wednesday. Jarrett Boykin will get another start opposite Jordy Nelson if Jones can't go.

Although Jones was listed as questionable on Friday's final injury report, he was always expected to be inactive for this game after not getting in a single practice rep during the week. Look for Jordy Nelson and Jermichael Finley to be the focal points of Green Bay's passing offense, with another hefty workload for emerging RB1 Eddie Lacy.
