James Jones caught two passes for 55 yards in Week 11 versus the Giants.
Jones was targeted six times on the day. He beat Prince Amukamara for a big 45-yard gain on a post route, but that was the highlight of Jones' day. With Scott Tolzien making his first career start at quarterback, Jordy Nelson and Jarrett Boykin did the most damage. Tolzien simply can't support three receivers. Jones will be on the WR3 radar next week against the Vikings.

James Jones caught four passes for 44 yards in Sunday's Week 10 loss to the Eagles.
Jones' knee appeared 100 percent and his snap count was way up, but he got outplayed by Jarrett Boykin (8/112/0 on 13 targets). The Packers offense is going to struggle to support three wideouts with Scott Tolzien under center, as he will be in Week 11 against the Giants. Jones is a desperation WR3 for now, but a fine bench hold as we wait for Aaron Rodgers' collarbone to heal.

James Jones (knee) played on just 28 snaps in Monday night's loss to the Bears.
Jordy Nelson (55 snaps) and Jarrett Boykin (49) were the primary receivers in two-wide sets. When the Packers went three-wide, Nelson moved into the slot. The good news for Jones' owners is that he emerged from the game healthy and will pass up Boykin once he's 100 percent. The bad news is that Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) is tentatively expected to miss three weeks. Ideally, owners will stash Jones and then unleash him when Rodgers gets back for the fantasy playoffs.

James Jones caught one pass for 17 yards in Week 9 against the Bears.
Making his first appearance since suffering a Week 6 knee injury, Jones was targeted three times. After Aaron Rodgers went down with a left shoulder injury on the opening possession, Seneca Wallace came on and threw just 19 passes. Jones didn't play his normal snaps, as he was the No. 3 receiver and only entered in three-wide sets. He appeared healthy, but a lot hinges on Rodgers' health.

James Jones (knee) is active for Monday night's Week 9 games against the Bears.
Jones was listed as questionable after returning to practice Friday and Saturday. He missed two games. Jones, Jordy Nelson, and Jarrett Boykin will comprise the Packers' three-wide set with Nelson likely manning the slot. Jones is a WR3 who may not play his full complement of snaps in the return. Inactive for the Packers are WR Chris Harper, CB James Nixon, OLB Clay Matthews (thumb), OLB Nick Perry (foot), TE Jermichael Finley (spine), DE Josh Boyd, and DE C.J. Wilson.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports James Jones (knee) is likely to play Monday night against the Bears.
Jones got in two limited practices this week, suggesting he has a good chance to suit up after missing two games. With the Packers and Bears not kicking off until Monday night, it would be a bit of a gamble to plug Jones, who is shaping up as a game-time decision, into fantasy lineups. He'll be a WR3 if active.

James Jones (knee) practiced on a limited basis Saturday and is listed as questionable for Week 9.
It was his second straight limited practice after returning on Friday. Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Jones "did more than yesterday" and is "up in the air" for Sunday's game. Jones is a full-blown game-time decision. He'll be a WR3 if active against the Bears.

James Jones (knee) is practicing again Saturday.
Beat writer Tyler Dunne observed Jones "doing everything" in the portion open to the media, suggesting Jones is getting in a full session one day after returning to practice on a limited basis. It appears Jones has a pretty good chance of suiting up Monday night against the Bears. Jones is a WR3.

James Jones (knee) returned to a limited practice on Friday.
Jones looks to be trending in the right direction, but there is still no clarity regarding his Week 9 availability. He'll probably wind up as a game-time decision on Monday Night Football. Teams that play in MNFers do not release final injury report classifications until Saturday. We'd look for a questionable tag tomorrow from Jones. If Jones does return against the Bears, Green Bay's most likely three-wide package would have Jones and Jarrett Boykin outside with Jordy Nelson at slot receiver. Myles White would probably be the No. 4. All Packers wideouts are capable of playing all three of the receiver positions. It's an emphasis of the coaching staff.
