The St. Louis Post-Dispatch believes Rams SS James Butler has agreed to restructure his contract, which called for $3 million this season and $3.5 million in 2012.
He's lost his starting job to Quintin Mikell. Butler was a candidate for release, but was at the Rams' Saturday morning walk-through. It's a pretty good sign he's agreed to a pay-cut, and will be ready to practice when veterans who have signed new deals are allowed to resume practicing in training camp.
