The Bengals are hopeful that Chase (back) will be able to play Sunday against Houston, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chase has dealt with a back bruise throughout the week after landing hard in a victory over the Bills in Week 9. He concluded the week with two limited practices but will go through pre-game workouts before his availability is decided. Chase is officially listed as questionable and his status will become official roughly 90 minutes before the team's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

The Bengals list Chase (back) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
After tending to what he described as a back bruise coming out of the Bengals' Week 9 win over the Bills, Chase sat out the Bengals' first practice of Week 10 on Wednesday before returning to the field Thursday and Friday as a limited participant. Though Chase's ability to finish the week on the field on back-to-back days is generally a good sign, head coach Zac Taylor was non-committal about the receiver's status for Sunday, according to Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer. Fortunately for those considering Chase in Week 10 lineups, the Bengals and Texans kick off among the early wave of games at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, likely leaving fantasy managers with more options to turn to in the event the wideout is ruled out.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor was non-committal Friday when asked about the chances of Chase (back) playing Sunday against the Texans, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per Ben Baby of ESPN.com, Chase -- who returned to practice Thursday in a limited capacity -- was present for Friday's session. The Bengals' final Week 10 injury report will be released later Friday and will reveal the extent of Chase's participation, but look for the wideout to be deemed questionable to play this weekend. Meanwhile, Taylor has already confirmed that Tee Higgins (hamstring) won't be available versus Houston.

Chase (back) was a limited participant in practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Head coach Zac Taylor acknowledged earlier in the week that Chase was contending with back soreness during this past Sunday's win over the Bills, resulting in the wideout sitting out the Bengals' first Week 10 practice Wednesday. Chase's ability to return to practice in some capacity a day later is a step in the right direction, though the receiver told Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic that he's still viewing himself as day-to-day and wouldn't yet commit to being available this Sunday against the Texans. Chase also characterized his injury as a back bruise rather than back soreness, after an MRI on Monday revealed nothing overly concerning. According to Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer, Chase said he felt "OK" during Thursday's session, and he plans to increase his activity Friday as he attempts to gauge whether he's in good condition to play this weekend.

Chase (back) was present for practice Thursday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Goldsmith notes that Chase -- who didn't practice Wednesday -- appeared to be going through his normal routine with the team's starting receivers Thursday, but the extent of his participation won't be known until the Bengals release their second Week 10 injury report. Chase is looking to overcome back soreness, which he experienced during Sunday's win over the Bills.

Chase (back) was listed as a non-participant in practice Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
According to Ben Baby of ESPN.com, Chase is dealing with back soreness coming out of the Bengals' Week 9 win over the Bills and now has two more chances to return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans. His status is thus worth monitoring closely as the week progresses, with the same applying to fellow wideout Tee Higgins (hamstring), who logged a limited session Wednesday.

Chase (back) isn't present for Wednesday, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Head coach Zac Taylor already said earlier this week that Chase would be a limited participant Wednesay, if the wideout was able to practice at all. Chase looks like he'll go down as a non-participant on the Bengals' first Week 10 injury report, though he seemingly still has decent odds to play this Sunday at the Texans. He was able to return to this past Sunday's 24-18 win over the Bills shortly after taking a hard fall, ultimately playing 90 percent of the available snaps.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Monday that Chase is day-to-day with a back injury, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though Chase handled a typical snap share (90 percent) on offense on his way to finishing with four catches for 41 yards on eight targets in Sunday's 24-18 win over the Bills, Taylor said the receiver was playing through a back issue that got worse as the game went along. Taylor added that Chase is still feeling sore Monday and noted that the 23-year-old may get a day off of practice to begin Week 10 prep. At this stage, Taylor hasn't committed to Chase being cleared ahead of next Sunday's game against the Texans, so his practice activity will bear watching in the days to come.

Chase caught four of eight targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 24-18 win over the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Chase took a back seat to Tee Higgins (8-110-0), who finished as the Bengals' leading receiver Sunday. The usual No. 1 option also ceded a pair of touchdowns in the red zone to tight ends Drew Sample and Irv Smith Jr., resulting in a down performance by the wideout's lofty standards. Chase was coming off of a massive three-game stretch in which he produced 31 receptions, 372 yards and four touchdowns for fantasy owners, which helps soften the blow of Sunday's underwhelming line. In positive news, Joe Burrow continues to excel as his health returns, putting Chase in a prime position to bounce back against the Texans next Sunday.

Chase brought in 10 of 12 targets for 100 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals' 31-17 in over the 49ers on Sunday. He also fumbled once but recovered.
EDGE Analysis
Chase led Bengals pass catchers across the stat sheet and helped put the nail in the coffin of the 49ers with his 17-yard touchdown grab in the fourth quarter that he punctuated with a backflip in a post-score celebration. Chase now has double-digit targets in four of the last five games, including in three straight, and has hit or eclipsed the century mark on three occasions overall. The 2021 first-round pick should once again play an integral role in a Week 9 home showdown against the Bills next Sunday night.
