Chase is present Tuesday for the start of mandatory minicamp, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chase's presence for the first mandatory practice of the offseason confirms he's not holding out after skipping voluntary OTAs throughout May. The Bengals picked up his fifth-year option in March, keeping Chase under contract through 2025. Tee Higgins, on the other hand, still hasn't signed his franchise tag and thus technically isn't under contract, allowing him to miss minicamp without being fined. Both wide receivers want contract extensions, and Chase's talent may make him the priority even though Higgins can become a free agent sooner.

Chase and teammate Tee Higgins are not present for voluntary OTAs on Tuesday as they continue to negotiate potential contract extensions, Ben Baby of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chase hasn't yet participated in voluntary workouts for Cincinnati this offseason, and he's now eligible for a contract extension. The Bengals picked up his fifth-year option. Higgins, meanwhile, has yet to sign his franchise tender after Cincinnati placed the one-year tag on him back in February. Coach Zac Taylor stated that he's not worried about the absence of either wideout, saying "they'll be ready and focused when it's time to come back." For now, though, Joe Burrow (wrist) will be taking reps without either of his top receivers present.

The Bengals have elected to pick up Chase's fifth-year contract option.
EDGE Analysis
With the expected move, Chase will remain under contract with Cincinnati through the 2025 campaign. This past season, the 2021 first-rounder recorded a career-high 100 catches (on 145 targets) for 1,216 yards and seven TDs in 16 regular-season games. The 24-year-old is thus poised to remain QB Joe Burrow's top pass-catching option for the next couple of years, and in that context Chase remains a top tier fantasy option at the wide receiver position.

Chase caught four of six targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Browns. He finishes the season with 100 catches on 145 targets for 1,216 yards and seven touchdowns.
EDGE Analysis
Chase took a back seat in the season finale to Joe Mixon and Andrei Iosivas, who scored two touchdowns apiece. The star wideout battled a shoulder injury down the stretch, and playing without Joe Burrow (wrist) after Week 11 didn't help matters, but Chase still posted the first 100-catch season of his three-year career. With Burrow expected back healthy next season, Chase should remain among the first few wide receivers off the board in fantasy drafts.

Chase (shoulder) was a full practice participant Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Earlier Thursday, Chase told Jay Morrison of ProFootballNetwork.com that he feels good physically and will play Sunday against the Browns, despite the fact that the Bengals have been eliminated from playoff contention. The receiver's ability to take every rep during Thursday's practice supports his assertion about his health, though it's conceivable that Chase could still have his snap count managed to some degree with little more than pride at stake in Week 18. Chase will have some motivation to end the season on a high note after he posted a meager 10-134-0 receiving line on 15 targets over Cincinnati's last four contests while missing one of those games (a Week 16 loss to Pittsburgh) due to a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder.

Chase (shoulder) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Jay Morrison of Pro Football Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chase sat out Week 16 due to a shoulder injury, then played in Week 17 against the Chiefs but was held to three catches for 41 yards. The Bengals have been eliminated from playoff contention and thus don't have much reason to push their star receiver, but Chase's limited participation Wednesday suggests he's planning to try to play in Sunday's season finale against the Browns.

Chase recorded three receptions on seven targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 25-17 loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Chase returned from a one-game absence caused by a shoulder injury, and he managed to tie for the team lead in targets. However, outside of a 24-yard reception on the team's second offensive possession, he was erased from making an impact on the game. With the Bengals now eliminated from playoff contention, the team may opt to protect Chase's health and either rest him or limit his snaps in a Week 18 matchup against the Browns.

Chase (shoulder) is listed as active Sunday in Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
After Chase sustained what was eventually confirmed to be an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder back in Week 15 against the Vikings, coach Zac Taylor called the wide receiver day-to-day. The forecast dimmed within days, though, and Taylor ruled Chase out ahead of a Week 16 matchup with the Steelers. Chase finally returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant, maintaining that activity level one day later before the Bengals deemed him questionable for Week 17 action. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported early Sunday morning that Chase was in line to suit up Sunday, and now that's been confirmed. In four career appearances (including playoffs) versus the Chiefs, Chase has compiled a 30-492-4 line on 37 targets.

Chase (shoulder) remains listed as questionable but looks likely to play in Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Adam Schefter of ESPN supports the notion that Chase is on track to make his return from a one-game absence due to a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder, though the wideout is expected to see how he feels during a pregame workout before the Bengals verify that he'll play. After sitting out last week's loss to Pittsburgh, Chase remained a spectator for practice Wednesday before returning to the field for limited sessions Thursday and Friday while also taking part in Saturday's walkthrough. While speaking to the media this week, Chase's comments also seemed to point toward him playing Sunday, so his managers can have some degree of confidence in including him in lineups. Chase's status will be officially confirmed one way or the other when Cincinnati announces its list of inactives 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

Chase (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Kansas City, Jay Morrison of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chase got back on the practice field Thursday as a limited participant and maintained that activity level one day later as he seeks to put an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder in the rearview mirror. When asked about Chase's prospects for Week 17, coach Zac Taylor told Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site, "We'll see in the next 48 hours." Chase thus may be subject to a pregame workout to get a sense of where he stands before the team makes a decision on his status about 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.
