Chase (hip) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chase handled a full workload in Sunday's win over the Saints, catching seven of 10 targets for 132 yards and two TDs while doing much of his damage late in the game. He thus seems likely to be ready for Sunday's game against the Falcons, though it'll be worth keeping an eye on Cincinnati's injury reports with WR Tee Higgins (ankle) and TE Hayden Hurst (groin) also limited Wednesday and hoping to avoid setbacks with injuries they've been able to play through.

Chase had seven receptions on 10 targets for 132 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-26 win over the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Joe Burrow and Chase came into the Superdome on a mission to recreate the magic the LSU teammates had the last time they played at this venue. The superstar duo did their part on the field, hooking up for a game-winning touchdown inside of the two-minute warning that sealed the victory for Cincinnati. Chase was having an adequate fantasy year coming into Sunday's matchup, so the monster stat line will surely boost his managers' spirits heading into the meat of the season. The 22-year-old phenom will carry a 39/475/4 line into a soft matchup against Atlanta's secondary next Sunday.

Chase grabbed seven receptions on 12 targets for 50 yards and rushed once for no gain in Sunday's 19-17 loss to Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
The Ravens were intent on not letting Joe Burrow and Chase beat them deep, consistently playing two-deep safety sets while veteran corner Marcus Peters played the star wideout physically off the line of scrimmage. Baltimore's plan worked well when factoring in the superstar's pedestrian stat line and the end result of the contest. The 22-year-old has been consistent with 32 receptions, 343 yards and two scores through five games, but the results seem lacking compared to last year's monster stat lines. Chase will draw a tough matchup on paper against shutdown corner Marshon Lattimore and the Saints next Sunday, but there is no situation in which fantasy managers should doubt starting the elite talent.

Chase secured four of six targets for 81 yards in the Bengals' 27-15 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
Chase finished second in receptions, receiving yards and targets to Tee Higgins for the Bengals on the night, turning in his best yardage total since Week 1 against the Steelers in the process. The 2021 first-round pick's 20.3 yards per reception was a welcome sight after he'd averaged just 7.5 yards per grab over the previous two games, and Chase will aim to keep his momentum going in a key Week 5 AFC North road battle versus the Ravens a week from Sunday night.

Chase caught six of 10 targets for 29 yards and a touchdown while rushing twice for minus-2 yards and losing a fumble in Sunday's 27-12 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Chase made up for a first-quarter fumble by capitalizing on a blown coverage for an easy five-yard touchdown in the third. He led the Bengals in targets and catches but finished a distant third behind Tyler Boyd (105) and Tee Higgins (93) in receiving yards, as rookie cornerback Sauce Gardner did a decent job of keeping Chase in check. Another tough cornerback awaits Chase in Week 4, as Xavien Howard will be tasked with slowing down the star wide receiver when the Bengals host the Dolphins on Thursday.

Chase caught five of nine targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
He also gained four yards on one carry. Chase was matched up against Trevon Diggs most of the day, although Joe Burrow's lack of time in the pocket was likely the bigger factor in Chase's relatively quiet performance. The second-year wideout will look to bounce back in Week 3 against a seemingly vulnerable Jets secondary that just surrendered a 9-101-1 line to Amari Cooper after giving up three TDs to Baltimore wide receivers in its opener.

Chase caught 10 passes for 129 yards and one touchdown on 16 targets against Pittsburgh on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
It was a difficult and painful game for Joe Burrow, who played less than great in turbulent conditions, but Chase's star talent still wasn't contained, even in an otherwise strong showing by the Pittsburgh defense. Granted, Chase's target volume was inflated slightly due to Tee Higgins suffering a concussion early in the game, but it's still encouraging to see the former post such strong fantasy production in a game as ugly as this one. It's also worth noting Chase nearly had a superhuman second touchdown catch on the right side of the end zone but just narrowly landed part of his foot out of bounds. Hopefully Higgins is recovered and cleared in advance of Cincinnati's Week 2 matchup with Dallas, but Chase projects for a productive game either way.

With Geoff Hobson of the team's official site indicating that Bengals are not in line to play key starters in Sunday's preseason game against the Giants, Chase appears on track to sit out the contest.
EDGE Analysis
Chase also sat out Cincinnati's exhibition opener, and it's unclear if the coaching staff intends to give the wideout any snaps in the team's preseason finale Saturday against the Rams. Either way, once the games count, Chase is slated to head a Bengals wideout corps that also features Tee Higgins (shoulder) and Tyler Boyd,

Chase could see more work in the slot this year, with offensive coordinator Brian Callahan noting that the second-year wideout is a "really smart" player who knows assignments for multiple receiver spots, Paul Dehner of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Primarily an X receiver last season, Chase didn't move around the formation much early on, instead finding success with his ability to beat press coverage, win one-on-one matchups outside and run past slower defenders. The Bengals moved him around a bit more as the year went along, but his 20.6 percent slot-snap rate over the final nine games (including playoffs) was still on the low side for a top receiver. Chase could move inside a bit more often this year, though it isn't clear how much that even matters for fantasy, as he finished last year with 2.49 yards per route run from the slot and 2.45 YPRR on the perimeter. There's also the matter of fellow Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd, who has primarily worked the slot for most of his career.

Chase joked Wednesday that he hopes former college teammate Justin Jefferson doesn't beat him to 2,000 yards, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
No player has ever hit 2,000 receiving yards in a season, though Cooper Kupp came close in the first year with a 17-game schedule (1,947). It won't be too surprising if someone does it in the next few years, with Chase, Jefferson and Kupp being the prime candidates. They're also the consensus first-round picks among wide receivers, with many drafts featuring all three in the top five. Chase turned 128 targets into 1,455 yards and 13 TDs as a rookie, later adding 368 more yards and another TD on 35 targets in four playoff games. Even if there's some efficiency regression, Chase has room to add more volume in his second pro season.
