Chiefs released CB Jacques Reeves with an injury settlement. Reeves was so bad in Week 1 that he lasted just one game in Kansas City before being placed on I.R. with an apparently minor hamstring injury. He's now an unrestricted free agent free to sign elsewhere. Reeves' bad tape from the Falcons game certainly won't help his chances of resurfacing quickly.

Chiefs placed CB Jacques Reeves (undisclosed) on injured reserve, ending his season. His comeback has ended ignominiously. After two years away from the game, Reeves was exploited as Brandon Flowers' replacement in the season opener. He hasn't played a snap since. Turning 30 next month, Reeves may have played his final NFL down.
