Tamme (back) was limited in Wednesday's practice, the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Tamme has remained a consistent target of Matt Ryan throughout the season, the tight end has surpassed 30 yards receiving just one time in the past four games, a span in which he's recorded 13 catches (on 18 targets) for 137 yards. Nevertheless, he ranks third on the Falcons with 72 targets, making him worthy of monitoring as the weekend approaches.

Tamme caught four balls for 26 yards in Sunday's blowout loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Tamme had five targets on the day, but the Falcons were largely ineffective on offense. The Falcons get an easier task in the Jaguars in Week 15, but Tamme is still a longshot to put up huge numbers.

Tamme (shoulder) is active Sunday against the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The Panthers boast one of the stronger cornerback duos in the league, so with Julio Jones getting plenty of defensive attention, Tamme could get an increase in targets if Jones and Devonta Freeman can't break out.

Tamme (shoulder) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Limited in practice both Wednesday and Thursday, Tamme returned to a full session Friday morning. He'll be up against a great defense that features a pair of elite coverage linebackers, but with Julio Jones likely seeing a lot of top cornerback Josh Norman, the matchup could leave Tamme with a few more targets than usual. He's emerged as the clear third option in Atlanta's offense, albeit a very distant third behind Jones and Devonta Freeman.

Tamme (shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday, Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tamme has emerged as the Falcons' favored tight end and second receiving option behind Julio Jones (knee) this season, earning at least four targets in eight of his 11 appearances. He's used six receptions of greater than 20 yards to put together the second-highest YPC mark (11.5) of his career, but a shoulder injury could put a damper on his production in the short term. Expect his activity level in upcoming drills to shed light on his potential to play Sunday in Carolina.

Tamme hauled in three catches for 26 yards off of four targets in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Tamme has topped 60 yards receiving five times this season, but has also been held under 30 yards four times - including Sunday's game. The veteran tight end's production has been all over the place this season and he hasn't been able to make up for it in the end zone, recording just a single touchdown. As Tamme stands on the deck of the sinking ship that is Atlanta's offense, he should not be relied on when you need him the most come playoff time.

Tamme reeled in five of six targets for 69 yards in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran led the Falcons in receiving yards Sunday as they struggled to move the ball against the stout Vikings defense. It was the third time in four games that Tamme has topped 60 receiving yards, illustrating his growing chemistry with Matt Ryan. Tamme remains a risky weekly option, however, with so many other mouths to feed on the Atlanta offense, and this will remain the case when they travel to take on the Buccaneers in Week 13.

Tamme caught one pass off of three targets for 16 yards in Sunday's loss to the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Sunday snapped Tamme's five-game streak of at least five targets. The reduction in Tamme's role corresponded with Leonard Hankerson's most targets since Week 4 and and Roddy White's most targets of the season. In the week or so before the Falcons' bye, Tamme was emerging as a legitimate starting-caliber tight end. The Falcons' emphasis on its second and third receivers following the bye, however, should suspend those notions at least temporarily so that it can be determined whether the change was game-specific or Atlanta's offense's new look.

Tamme caught six passes off of 10 targets for 61 yards in Sunday's loss to the 49ers.
EDGE Analysis
Tamme has now been targeted 22 times over the past two weeks, totaling 16 catches. After averaging three catches for 35 yards in the season's first three games, Tamme has averaged six catches for 65 yards in Atlanta's past five contests. Tamme now ranks second or third on the team in every major receiving category. He's a consistent fantasy performer, especially in PPR leagues, but his lack of scores prevents him from being a top-tier option.

Tamme reeled in 10 passes off of 12 targets for 103 yards and a score in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Tamme ran an intermediate out, caught the ball and traffic and landed in the end zone for his first score as a Falcon in the third quarter. Known best as Peyton Manning's securing blanket for most of his career, Tamme topped 100 yards on Sunday for the first time since Week 9 of the 2010 season. The performance didn't necessarily come out of nowhere as Tamme posted a eight-catch game in Week 5 during which he accumulated 94 yards and had a four-catch game in Week 2 where he totaled 77 yards. Tamme is a name worth monitoring in the free agency pool, especially if he finds the end zone a few more times.
