Tamme caught three of four passes for 28 yards in Monday's win over New Orleans.
EDGE Analysis
It was Tamme's weakest performance thus far this season, but the veteran should still be looked at as one of the steadier fantasy options at tight end. He has caught at least three passes in 15 of his 18 games in Atlanta and currently leads the team with 14 receptions - more than just five tight ends in the league. A lack of touchdowns, just two since arriving in Atlanta last year, still plague him, but Tamme is a solid low-risk, low-reward option week to week.

Tamme hauled in five of eight targets for 75 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 35-28 win at Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Tamme is off to a hot start, with 11 catches for 126 yards and a touchdown through two weeks. Top wide receiver Julio Jones has been hobbled by an ankle injury, which has allowed the tight end to see more attention from quarterback Matt Ryan. Next week's Monday Night Football showdown with a susceptible Saints defense offers a good opportunity for Tamme to keep the good times rolling.

Tamme caught six balls for 51 yards in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
The six catches were the most of any pass catcher on the Falcons, and his eight targets tied for the most looks along with Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu. Tamme only received eight or more targets three times last season, so although the game flow led to the Falcons passing more than they probably would have liked, it's encouraging for Tamme that Ryan feels comfortable looking his way.

Tamme is listed as the starter on Atlanta's depth chart for Week 1 against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
This comes as no surprise, given that Tamme started the second and third games of the preseason, working ahead of both Austin Hooper and Levine Toilolo. The rookie is listed No. 2, with Toililo taking the third spot and Joshua Perkins rounding things out at No. 4. Tamme often served as the third option in Atlanta's passing game last season, but he'll probably fall back to fourth or fifth this season, assuming Mohamed Sanu isn't a complete bust. There's also a very real chance that Hooper cuts into Tamme's snap count as the year moves along.

Tamme caught his only target for a nine-yard gain in Thursday's preseason game against the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
Tamme's reception came on Atlanta's first offensive snap, but he was quiet for the rest of the night. Levine Toiliolo (one catch for 13 yards) and rookie Austin Hooper (one catch for seven yards) didn't fare much better, and the Falcons haven't gotten much from their tight ends through the first two weeks of the preseason. Tamme is the favorite to serve as the team's primary pass-catching tight end, but as seen last season, it's not a role that comes with much upside.

Tamme caught four balls for 61 yards in Sunday's loss to the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Tamme had a rather consistent 2015 season, but consistency and success aren't the same thing. He finished with between 16 and 36 receiving yards in seven of his 15 games, and only once did he top 100 yards. Anyone who started Tamme during his lone 100-plus-yard performance also benefited from Tamme's lone touchdown, but outside of that game against Tampa, Tamme struggled to really make his mark in a decent offense. A second year in the offense and the fact that he'll be in a contract year in 2016 leads us to believe Tamme should improve on his 657 yard, one touchdown season.

Tamme caught four balls for 29 yards in Sunday's win over the previously undefeated Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Tamme caught all four targets thrown his way, and two of his four receptions moved the chains. Tamme finishes the season against the Saints in Week 17. He recorded three catches for 32 yards when the two teams met earlier this season.

Tamme (back) is listed as active Sunday in Jacksonville.
EDGE Analysis
The Falcons' offense has been nothing short of dreadful for the past month, and Tamme hasn't escaped the morass, accruing 13 catches (on 18 targets) for 137 yards over the past four outings. Although he's recorded just one touchdown in an otherwise resurgent season, he has a great chance to hit pay dirt against a Jaguars defense that has yielded six touchdowns to tight ends in the last five games.

Tamme (back) is listed as probable for Sunday's game in Jacksonville.
EDGE Analysis
Tamme logged full practices Thursday and Friday, setting him up for his usual role in Sunday's favorable matchup. He has typically been the third option behind Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman in the Atlanta passing game, but the entire Falcons offense has been abysmal in recent weeks.

Tamme (back) was a full practice participant Thursday, the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bumping his activity level from limited to full provides confidence that Tamme will be available Sunday at Jacksonville. He hasn't hit the end zone since Week 8, but an appealing matchup awaits against a Jaguars defense that has allowed 10 touchdowns to tight ends over the last five games.
